Hey Man, I've enjoyed your videos for awhile now but this one motivated me to comment. I really like your breakdown of what it took to step it up. I can especially relate to the cramping issue. I don't race but every year I do a big multi-day bike trip and by day 3-4 cramping is lurking. I'll definitely be looking into specific exercises to target this. Congrats and thanks.
I have also suffered from cramping during mountain biking and surfing. I found a lot of relief from supplementation. Started taking zinc, krill oil and especially potassium and magnesium. Took a few weeks, but now I'm able to go much longer/harder. Great content BTW!
Great video, love the breakdown of each issue you needed to conquer. I also have had the cramping in my legs and always wondered what caused this. Thanks for the insight!
OMG! I was exactly looking for this kind of informations. I signed up for TM 22 September. I try to push my fitness in between 10h working days, Traveling for work, family and sleeping. Not sure if I will survive this race but your content gives me hope. 2,5 month to go and 10 days pre session on Madeira to get the rest of fitness. cross fingers.
That awesome! You are going to have the time of your life, as long as you start training now! Get after it. It can be done. I’m going to be putting out more videos showing the whole adventures, so make sure you are subscribed!

@@LEVINJAMIRO 1) A good light waterproof rain jacket. You will always need to have it with you. 2) Extra pair of riding shoes. I have a similar problem where my hamstrings are taking the strain instead of my glutes and quads. My physio has me doing things like single leg squats while adducting one leg against a gym ball. Why hello there glutes!

@@MTBTravelReview Not shure. But maybe I was mistaken. It was a series of short commercials. So im shure you can squeeze in some of them. I think you make really good content normally. So I appreciate that. But this seems like just a bunch of promotions.

It’s a game changer when everything fires correctly!!
Correction: Abducting (pushing outwards)!
The 30 day challenge is so good.

Yes!! I ate so many bananas and sugary snacks during the race. They had amazing snack stations will all of the goods. Need those quick carbs!
