HEY... If your press has or uses silicone o rings and you have silicone...even plant based in your ingredients it will eventually breakdown & dissolve your o rings causing your press to leak. REASON IS...its made of the same base property. Silicone gaskets work great lots of things just not liquid silicone. It is best to... Replace all the gaskets/o rings with nitrile or boma o-rings. Basically ones not made of the same material that comes in contact with gasket or o ring made of the same materials. MUCH LUV.

You can use your fragrance oil from 0.5%-2% max ❤ Hope this helps
