I will never complain about haveing to play both ends against the middle on my chromatic accrodion. You diatonic button accrodion guys take the cake.. Sounds GREAT!! Bellow Embleshment is what my teacher called it, I'm lucky to keep up a steady bellow shake. Amazing.
I appreciate all of the comments. Hope you enjoy all of the videos. 4 those of u wanting to know there are 4 polkas in this vid, Rosa Ana, La Grulla, Atotonilco & El Circo. They r all Tony De La Rosa polkas.
I have listened to this recording over and over. I play diatonic accordion myself but I have a different style. I love the melody in Ramonacc's music and certainly the background accompaning music is sufficient. I understand why the bass isnt required in this style of music. Irish folks do similar. I am Australian and I love playing my bass as I play tradtional folk and dance style as well as French valses so I require my bass. I respect this lovely mexican genre! Regards from the land downunder
Yeah Mexicans aren't into playing the bass buttons, you should listen to some "Perico Ripiao" (look up: "Si Tatico Se Levanta") from the Dominican Republic and some older "Vallenato" music (look up: "ALEJANDRO DURAN Y SUS ÉXITOS) from Colombia if you want to hear some real "latin american" diatonic accordion music where they actually DO use bass buttons.

Great job Ramon, nice combination of polkas. Could you verify the key of each polka you are playing. Thanks, best regards. Rosana-G La Grulla-C Atotonilco-C El Circo-Fa
Fantastic! What kind of box is that you are playing? Are the notes the same on push and pull? I'm learning to play an Irish tuned two row accordion but love the sound of this!
there is a big difference i think, the 12 string guitar is like the 6 strings guitar but is used for rekintos, but you can play the same chords in both. but the bajo sexto has a very different sound, actually i think you can use the bass strings in the bjo sexto, aloso the chords are very different to the guitar.
@ramonacc no one plays the bass notes on the accordion, thats the job of the (bajo sexto). I only saw valerio used them while playing, he would hit them, but for the most part, you have a lot of great bajista.(how about baca, tejada,R.I,P
cant wait to get one of these, they sound amazingly awesum, reminds me of fair grounds or the circus , and france, hahaha, only the sound, NOT THE SONG , but it sounds great
Hell yea!!... Puro CHICANO, TEJANO, PURO PINCE CONJUNTO!! I don't know about all that Mexico this and that... used to be good over there now its just dangerous and the money sucks... just sayin
Pues dices tu que en Colombia pero yo diria que son generos totalmente distintos...asi que no compares por favor. Y para musica norteña nada mas tenemos al mejor a Ramon Ayala.
I've read a few of u guys leaving comments on y tejano/norteno (Mexican) accordion players don't play the bass notes. Da main reason is we don't need to. We play a TOTALY differant style of accodion music than u do. We don't need bass notes because most accordion players play with a full band; drums, bass guitar, guitar/bajo sexto, sometimes keybords, trumpet, sax. So the bass notes on the accordion r not necessary, u wouldn't even hear them. So quit being ignorant. It's not the same style!
Absolutely brilliant!
Damn Ramon, you just layed it down, and that my friend is how it should be done!!!

i would have just chosen the colors green ,white ,and red on the accordion
All the mexican accordion players and their moms have green white and red accordions, but yeah the american flag design looks a bit "tacky"
magic fingers!

Whats the name of this polka?

you guys are just too lazy to learn, a bajo sexto guy won't always be right next to you to play the bass notes...
I surrender and subscribe!
I think as long as you have the money Gabanelli will do it.

te super pasas de verga

cool amarican flag design
Tocas chido, muestra la cara

Very nice. But I don't think those are polkas. They sound like shodishes to me.
