    ..first let me say that I love the black and white!
    I'm 66 and started music with accordion lessons at the ago of 6 but once I saw the Beatles on Ed Sullivan, it was guitar and piano since.
    You've inspired me to bring my accordion to my next Blue Jam....cheers!.... :)

    Happy to hear you playing acordion. I also starting My music playing With an acordion, but My teacher told me to get a button type,he told me
    It was easier to play ackord on. But today I had get a piano type, but I was about ten years old, and did what he told me.
    That was my music playing start, and a play most walz and popular song and trying playing The Saint Louis Blues in Fm, and there was my start
    to like more rytmik music as, Boogie and Blues.
    Best greatings to you from Bernt in Sweden!

    Hey Brendan. Great to see you with an accordion too. You are one kick ass piano player and I've watched several of your videos. I've been playing accordion and piano for over 50 years. Still play Rock and Roll piano in a Doo Wop/Classic Rock band. That's a beautiful accordion you've got, kinda looks like my Gabinelli Accordion. I also really like the way he doesn't boast about how talented he is - he comes in under the radar and downplays his abilities.
    Really excellent - great stuff!

    You need to do more videos where’d you wind up talentless Romanian accordionists in the street. Most of them only know the one tune Danube waves(anniversary song) and then not very well. The clip of you playing the Irish washerwoman on a beat up out of tune accordion while dressed as a pcso was great. I could see the envy in the girls eyes when she realised you could play far better than she will ever be able to..... as a professional accordionist I can say without a doubt for a boogie Wookiee pianist you sure are good on accordion. Well done.....

    To answer the last, semi-rhetorical, question in this video, another applicable (but often sneered upon by music snobs) instrument would be the harmonium (that thing that looks like a cross between a piano and a flute)

    • @Izakokomarixyz
      @Izakokomarixyz 5 років тому

      Shruggz Da Str8-Faced Clown - That’s a melodica. A harmonium is like a box with piano keys and bellows for air.

    • @codyives5409
      @codyives5409 3 роки тому

      I realize your comment is old, but I had to mention this. Norteño is normally played on three-row diatonic (button) accordions, and the notes are different depending if you push or pull the bellows. Piano and chromatic button accordions have the same notes no matter what direction the bellows is moving. Also, many Mexican players don’t use the bass side, and even remove the reeds.

    • @masafinska5838
      @masafinska5838 4 роки тому

      I'm an accordionist and I can play piano too. I love the accordion but I wouldn't reccomend you training your piano skills on the accordion. Accordion has no sensitive keyboard but piano does. When playing the accordion you have to control your bellow first, because it is the main element of the instrument. Piano has no bellow and that's why you have to do all the dynamics and articulation details with keyboard only.
