Unfortunately, costs everywhere continue to rise, but if you compare to similar large attractions such as Disney or Gatlinburg/Branson area museums, the cost is comparable. Eating at the Ark can be pricey at the buffet, but we try to just eat 1 meal there to save. Since kids are free at the Ark, this can be an additional savings. I think many people assume that since the Ark is a ministry that it shouldn't be so expensive, but we all forget or just simply don't realize the costs of a place like this. One guy told me that it takes 450 people on an average day just to run this place. With it still very hard to find workers these days, businesses have to offer more competitive salary to get and to keep people. If you know someone who has a lifetime boarding pass to the Ark, they will get 8 free tickets every year to share with others! So, this might be another idea.
