1080P 50FPS looks definitely smoother than 4K 30FPS while I am watching your video on my 13 inch Macbook Air. It's a matter of preference I guess. I normally record in 4K 30FPS with my own Neo, also -2 sharpness. I recorded with and without ND filter and found that 4K 30FPS with ND filter looks fine too. The feedback I was getting from friends was always positive when I shot in 4K 30FPS with and even without ND filter. I guess the average viewer doesn't seem to care about that so much. I will also see if a 4K 30FPS recording with no ND will look good by applying motion blur in post edit. I haven't looked into that yet. Maybe another comparison video you could make.
Thank you very much for this test. 1080p 50fps looks nicer watching on my phone. It was smoother overall, 4K was crisp but you can notice the jitters. Just like when gaming, I prefer a smoother gameplay over quality. Very smooth flying btw. You are really skilled.
i'm always a fan of downscaling, or jsut capturing no a lower reso. i feel that manufacturers sometimes push the written specs just for the sake of checking boxes. will definitely try this out.
L'image a des saccades en 4k. En 1080p a 50 images/sec c'est très fluide... Merci pour cette belle démonstration. (Je le reçois Mardi 3 décembre et vais utiliser ce mode) 👏👍👍👍👍👍
The annoying thing about the 60 FPS mode is that, if you set the drone to 4:3 (to turn off stabilization), it actually records at 1440x1080 (not 1920x1440), so even if you _don't_ put it through gyroflow, you still won't have enough horizontal resolution for a "true" 1920x1080 video (if you do put it through gyroflow, you'll have even less). It's also annoying that you can't fill the goggles screen while recording in 4:3 (i.e., record the full 4:3 but show a slightly zoomed-in version in the goggles), and that you can't record the raw (non-stabilised) footage while still sending a stabilised version to the goggles. There's no technical reason for any of these things, the drone's CPU can handle all of those combinations, they just didn't enable them in the firmware.
@@TheSkyHighFilms ngl, i think the idea of the neo is cool, im yet to see a video with good enough image quality to warrant a purchase... maybe in a v2 but rn this is just a toy, imo
Yeah DJI is discontinuing the mini line and focusing on the neo/avata line. So the neo2 is going to be the actual drone to buy not this toy...@@jimgiraffe5253
@@Christopher-eu8on if thats the case then why does it give you the ability to record ? my expectations are just fine, esp since its 2024 and a phone can record better quality than this
Im not sure what some of you are expecting for a $200 dollar drone. This drone does things that the high price drones dont. Too much complaining I think its pretty good video for a $200 drone that has so many groundbreaking features.
This drone is unusable for FPV until they release 2.7k@60 FPS (EIS). 1080p@60 FPS (EIS) is too low for 2024. 4k@30FPS (EIS) is unwatchable - too choppy.
I don’t know… it’s still very fun to fly it. :) In the end I think that is what matters the most. If I enjoy the flying experience it’s not a waste pf money.
I don’t know… I think it’s pretty cool. It’s fun to fly it. Yes the image quality could be better, yes it could be more powerful, but it’s still fun to experience flights with it. And if it’s fun - it’s useful to me :)

I think 1080p/50 is super at that fast speeds. and 4k is better with slow speeds cinematics. 😱😱
Yeah, I can agree to that! :)
I agree 2.7k with 50 or 60 fps would be sooo sweet.
I’d even settle for 1440p 60fps 😂
Lekker man, Lekker. Baie insiggewend. Pragtige plekke en land. Voortreflikke Video ( Rolprent )😃👍🏻

Cool flight, great location 👍
I'm enjoying flying my Neo.
Thanks 👍
Me too! :D

Yeah! I can totally agree to that! I also would choose smoother gameplay in games and FPV flying.
And thank you for the kind words! :)
i'm exited. I just bought one of these drones the flymore combo with the n3 goggles. I've not even tried it yet

its always good watching your videos great flight the new Neo is sweet
Thanks! :) happy to hear that! :)
Love your channel and recent DJI Neo love man, I need FPV goggles myself. Need to be able to fly cool like yours.
Thank you so much! :)
Yeah, goggles makes a whole lot of difference! :)
I really like the way you fly in fpv 👍 It does not matter if it is 4k or 1080. Everything is awesome 👍
He flies Mavics almost like and FPV drone. One of the best Mavic pilots I have seen. I have seen a lot of them.
Wow! Glad to hear that! :)
Thanks!
Of all that flew the NEO you are the Best Flyer!!!!!!!
Wow! Very happy to hear that! Thanks! 🙏🏻

Looks like the weather we are having in St Louis Missouri today.
Better than the snow we're due tomorrow
Haha, yeah. It’s very gloomy here.
Skilled pilot!
Thank you for such positive feedback! Appreciated!
You have some beautiful architecture in your country.
Thinking about buying this little guy like a companion to my Avata for buildings, bandos etc.. what do you think.. worth the money?
If you already have the goggles and RC it’s definitely worth the money. In my opinion at least. :)
That's a nice view when your comming from above and then as a rocket down at fulllllll speeddddd hahahaha nice
Thanks! :D it sure was fun! :D

@TheSkyHighFilms thanks
your 4k 30 footage on this 4k 50 timeline are causing lots of dropped frames which look so bad. not like you as your stuff is usually preetty good
I know what you mean. Eather way I wouldn’t be able to combine these two frame rates.

The frames per second make a huge difference.
4K must have more fps. Otherwise, 1080 looks better due to the fps.

Footage in first few mins totally put me off buying one.
Poor quality anyway. Waste money. Better wait for neo 3th gen.

A lot of people in this world have money to spend. Sorry you're broke man

If you think this drone is for rich people, you're just broke. Step ur hustle up.
Get a job and get your own drone. Don’t criticize people who loved flying drones.
So you think the Neo is priced for rich people 😂 so they wouldn't buy the Avata 2 or higher with their enormous wealth?
