Mad tracklist, thanks mate
THX...appreciate that!
Hero
brother you are a fu*ing god, thanks
Used to recover dead bodies for a crematory. Just me in a van at all hours of the night. Carried many people's loved ones on to the next world to 90's dnb - hope it made the transition a little smoother...
They didnt miss a beat
I AM LOST IN YOUR CHANNEL AND I DONT WANT TO BE FOUND.
found you :D
YOU HAVE BEEN FOUND, WE SHALL NOW VIBE TOGETHER.
AND IM NOT ASKING FOR DIRECTIONS
Same. See you in the 90s bud 👍
Maybe happiest years of my life...
Obviously the happiest :D
With you there. I knew it was good. It only now do I realize just how special that time was. Still sounds like the future
I miss the whole scene from that era all the time. What the 50's were for jazz, the 90's were for electronic club music. A convergence of factors that just led to so much good music you couldn't keep up.
They were special times I'm so glad i lived through it and the parties and clubs were mental
@@badgers1975 I'm jealous.
ua-cam.com/video/xtkbPR_wkLM/v-deo.html&ab_channel=KrzysztofUtbult
What I would give to be able to be among those scenes and experiences.
From like 86 when early House was coming out through the whole nineties was great, even early 80s with Loose Ends, Sharon Redd etc., There's always been great music and there always will be.
Late 90s UK was something. We had it so good, we just didn't know about it
i listen to this while driving an ambulance. i work in local hospital and usualy i would be dispatched to a remote vilage in the outskirts of city alone. fast rythim compliments the fast driving while calm and soothing melody helps me relax and stay focused.
EDIT : i cannot explain how much the nice comments mean to me. what made me sad is that people from difrrent country are thanking me for service while my people treat me in worst way.
imagine driving 20km as fast as you can to a car crash scene involving 2 teen sisters only to, once upon arrival, get shitted on by bystanders that are swearing your mother while you are trying to save somebodys kid.
thank you people and im wishing yall pleasant suprises!
probably keeps the patients in the back alive too
are you one of the fake ambulances that blast their sirens for no discernable reason in certain neighborhoods and then just park somewhere doing nothing because you're a huge faker
@@jhonnysjipandfishhop6198 bellend lol
@@jhonnysjipandfishhop6198 whats with the attitude? i just sait the music helps me work.
Nice mate. Don't let the attitude of some people stop your enjoyment.
Such a great Vibes .. Clean and Jazzzyy..
Organic. Natural. Super Cool. Like waking up in a new state.. pure....
My goodness, this music is beautiful. Can never get enough of 90s dnb.
The exuberance and positivity we felt making these tunes because of the kit that was fun to use like hardware samplers, sound modules, FX boxes and such like.
Music was an exploration and expression and the musical tools helped to turn our ideas into reality.
That 88-2000 musical period was a ground breaking time for electronic music and music production
The two went hand in hand.
I think that’s partly why this music still resonates deeply.
Atmospheric D&B of 90's - it's a best sound for my heart
The Organics, the schematics, the inner workings, the mechanics of drum and bass theory…..where it all began….the first book of the Old Testament….the Genesis of Drum and Bass, intelligence…..
THANK YOU FOR SHARING
Used to go to so many drum and bass nights in Dublin back in the 90s. Magnificent times. Truly unbelievable times. 👏 🇮🇪
Yes, the 90's was the best era for the best DnB ever made. Nothing after that period can touch it! While living through this time, I never even thought that the genre would experience such a change (for the worse) in my opinion! Had I the foresight to collect most if not all this music, I would have tried to buy it all! We were spoiled, because what comes out now is.....well.,..uninspiring, corporate and bereft of imagination and creativity! My favorite quote " the 90's weren't even ready for the nineties"!
There is plenty of good music coming out nowadays it just comes down to what you are exposed to, the mainstream players hog up most of the screen time because of corporations, like you said. UA-cam has been a valuable resource for finding obscure gems.
There is some very good artists still to this day producing beautiful music... you just got to find those hidden gems 😉
@@banandrea Certainly would appreciate finding out where this is to be found!
"Autonomic" dnb of 2010's was special i thought...
90's FTW definitely, without a shadow if a doubt, but there's still loads of good DnB (and Jungle!) being made. You just have to dig deep!
Big up Bryan Gee. I have to big him up because he championed this sound!! Sunday nights on Kool FM were always something special. Hearing all these gems for the first time. They still sound incurably fresh and ahead of their time. Much better than a lot of today's music.
He's still doing it on the fantastic V Podcast!
@@williamking9510 Nice one William I'll check that out!!
@@TakeMeBackPirateRadio I've just checked out your channel - WOW!!!! Incredible collection!
@@williamking9510 thank you bruva!! Just preserving a legacy of underground pirate radio music which worthy of celebrating.

43:00 so good
What's the tune called?
I’m only 14 but this is one of my favorite mixes to listen too
GOOD FOR YOU ITS A RICH VEIN OF MUSIC THAT CAN LEAD YOU TO ALL SORTS OF OTHER INCREDIBLE MUSIC
Damn you're based
Welcome to the vibes. ♥️👌
9:56
I love the pure elegance this conveys,
I have only found this quality from old school DnB, and it's something I always find myself coming back to.
Absolutely true mate.
what song is that?
Edit: Carlito - Heaven
@@espennilsen2909 THANK YOU!~
How do some of these tracks sound so nostalgic 😭 even though i never listened to this type of music back then?
I was 17 in 1995. While this does take me back it for some reason doesn't seem like such a long time ago. Meanwhile the last two and half years feels like they've taken forever. The perception of time is such a weird thing.
Hello just at this time...I appreciate this the best time to stay here and appreciate life or time....
Beautiful London...
as an American theres a sort of lost nostalgia for this sort of music. i love it oh so much
The sounds of this era are timeless
Truly
The photography accompanying these lovely tunes is fantastic. Every picture tells a story. If you know… you know x
I now know my new favorite genre of music, and also what I'm gonna be binge-listening to when I'm doing schoolwork.
This is not just a genre of music, this is our history.
But welcome to the jungle
Just been to London for the first time and I gotta say, this is the only place this type of music could've originated from. Looking at the pictures and listening to this set....yeah. Thats Londons soundtrack.
The 90s was a magical time. I miss it.
pre 9/11 world still had some optimism to it and you can hear it in the music from the era
Spiritual music ❤
35:35 such a good tune!!!!
The soundtrack (OST) from "StreetFighter3" is inspired from this wonderful area, for a well known reason
I listened such wonderful sounds for the first time when I was 11 years old in (1991). Immortally good!
THANK YOU, for this great mix!
yes, and it all sank in and made our tastes what they are today
Yup, a lot of Japanese osts of that era used drum n bass. Some real gems out there
this era of ambient jungle etc is key
I LISTEN TO THIS WHILE SURFING THE NET. IT HELPS ME STAY CALM AS I COME ACROSS THE VARIOUS THINGS THAT ARE ON THE NET. SORRY FOR SHOUTING BUT THE MUSIC IS REALLY LOUD.
Love the opening picture of the video of Brick Lane London. My my my, how times have changed
looks like brick lane 2022 to me rather than 1995
WE ARE THE CREATIVE SOURCE
love the pictures in this
that picture there should ever the twain meet and swap shoppings bags
yeah i know other geezer using hands free xD
Oh Amazing Mix a lot of memories come to my head, Adam F Circles, Goldie Inner City Life etc....I needed this dose in my life
Early Creative Source is so smooth. Now this...
This is refined music.
Unquestionably some of the most sophisticated stuff you could possibly listen to these days.
Very calming tracks. Didn't hear anything similar before.
Yeah mate, the golden era of the sound that we love and creative source are one of my all time-fav labels! Thx for upload!!
Where are they from

I love listening to futuristic music made almost 30 years ago!
This will always sound like music from the future
this and good lookin' are all time goat imprints
literally heaven for your ears. This is just lovely
Thanks for this EPIC trip down memory lane. Austin, Texas Friday night vibes…
This era shaped the future. That dark man Fabio knows it. He brought jazz into dnb and hosted the most wonderous show on kiss first then r1.
Wonderful old school
Great mix thanks for the upload. the Track after Carlito - Grapevine is:
Intense - Streams Of Thought (not Breathless)
Thanks! I was looking for that tune
Big up DJ Rhythm Kicker and all the former Pressure FM 100.4 crew he was another DJ that championed the intelligent Jungle tracks.
Temptation legit sounds like something Pierre Bourne or Icytwat could've made, but 27 years ago 🤯🔥
Dnb so ahead of it's time
Finally! Someone understands this 😄😄 bless up
Temptation one my all time favourites afters 9am classic wicked set nuff respect😉
Brilliant Mix - Only 26000 views, I cant believe this
In this time I was
in GABBER-scene
in the Netherlands,
but listened lots of
Jungle-tunes that
times, that were
used as samples
in lots of Gabber
tracks, and I loved
it a lot, and I still do!!🥳
can you name a gabber DJ that you were in to?
A bright side of drum. Brilliant. Thanks.
Lovely selection of not just tracks but pics too !
Rating this highly
What a special record label, brilliantly compiled tracks Mr Fredericks. Every tune had me in awe of how special this music and scene was growing up in London Big up all those that used to reach down to the Blue Note, in Hoxton. Also the crew that reached to down to Bar Rumba.
This is one of my favorite mixes I've ever come across. Unreal. Thank you infinitely for sharing this. Great music to paint / workout / read / drink with friends to!
pics go crazy good with the set
Well what do you know. Just enjoyed a week's worth of your back2back mix Wax Doctor on loop. did a search for Big Bud 1995 and you came up. Gonna ease back and enjoy now... Nice one Tom....
I’d probably replace “early” in the tiltle with “golden” Mr Fredericks. How good a track is Heaven by Carlito? As caned by everyone from Bukem and Fabio to even Laurent Garnier! Although the best tune on Creative Source remains a tie between The Sun by the mighty Hidden Agenda and Only You by Intense
Wonderful stills ty

It's still going people. We died but rave didn't.
I love that photo
I really love to listen to this while working. It actually helps me stay focused and it's not distracting at the same time.
Chillstep and those genres are cool but they kinda just make me wanna not do anything.
I also noticed a track that sounds very similar to the Facing Worlds soundtrack from 1999's Unreal Tournament @ 43:00
I guess it was just those times back then :)
amen break i think my friend, i played the shit out of ut 99
1:09:19 yo it's the breakdancing cat song, didn't expect to find that here
deep stuff. 90s were epic in terms oof such dnb.
I'm really racking up the views on this mix now! Bravo!
I came here for the Thumbnail nice reflection

I feel lucky to have known these period of time. Still have my liquid funk comp on vinyl.
only vinyl i have from them is the makoto release and gotto say it's easily one of my faves. didn't realize they've been around since mid 90s. thanks for the history lesson \m/
Very very nice mix. Thank you.

One of the best albums I ever heard , really funky , really laid back for those gorges summer nights and so cool to listen to any time any were , at the end of the day I wish I had this wonderful album but I don't , not fair . 🌴🌴🍈🍈🌴🌴 🌞🌞 💞💞
