Love seeing you boys play one of my home courses. Been a rough summer up here for conditions, but glad you guys got to see some of the state.
I live in anchorage. All the courses have been struggling with the crap weather we have had this summer. Have only Broke into the 70’s a handful of times. Normally the conditions are a better. Season normally runs from the first week of June to mid October depending on snow melt and when it starts snowing
Loving the Golfing Old Glory video series !!! So my dad used to tell me " if you don't like the way the greens roll hit it closer and you don't have to worry about putting" ..
The guys at Settler's have done an insane job this year keeping the greens in even half decent shape. With the amount of record rain we have had this year, they have really put their all into it. I hope you guys get to come back one day and play on a bluebird day when its 70 degrees out, and those greens are rolling at like a 10 or 11 stimp. Awesome to see you guys playing my home track!
Same shit different day out here on your opposite side of the country too (NH)… the course I work at has gotten 16” of rain in the last 3 weeks. Absolutely brutal when it’s the #1 private course in the state😮
@@brendanoshea1472 holy cow that sounds brutal
@@brendanoshea1472 Same with Maine haha it's been brutal
Yeah loved playing in Alaska
Love seeing you guys up here. Our summer has been awful so the conditions are not ideal. But we work with what we got up here! I was wondering which course yall were going to hit up. Hopefully we get a repeat of this series. Keep up the great work!
Been waiting for this one! So cool to see how much you guys have grown and how far this series has taken you!!
Next year go to Fairbanks on the Summer Solstice, June 21, and play in the Midnight Sun Golf Tournament. Tee off at Midnight. Sun is back above the horizon about 2:30 ish!
Those mosquitoes can get up to the size of quarters out there! I have family that jokes about the mosquito is the Alaskan state bird 😂
I’ve been waiting for this video for so long. I loved playing golf when I lived in Alaska, figured you’d play this course! I love knowing exactly what’s coming next!! Made my day.
Love watching this series. Look forward to seeing which course you play in Minnesota. So many great courses too choose from.
The Mat-Su valley where you guys are playing has had record rainfall this year. It has been raining for months on end now. Alaskas state bird the mosquito comes out in force around 7-8 pm everynight.
I’m glad you got to do it! I used to live in Alaska and it was common to play until early morning 😊
Been waiting for this one to drop. Love this series 🔥
Legit had me laughing out loud by the end. Shit was hysterical
Y'all are really gaining traction boys love to see it. feel like just a week ago you were at 100k. Keep it up!!!
Alaska will always be an experience no matter what you do. Playing golf would be epic. Views look phenomenal. I’m jelly af! Great content as always boys 🤟🏼
20:31 "Have you ever eaten dinner before playing golf?" 😂😂
I played Moose Run which is the #3 course in Alaska back in September last year. Truly one of the most beautiful places in the world. 60 degree F, not a cloud in the sky, so you got a perfect view of the mountains and glaciers.
Really enjoyed this video because I’m visiting my parents in Alaska and I’m going golfing here !
Love the content boys! Y’all have been a great channel to watch grow the last year or so. Mason, heard you mention directional drilling, what is it you do for work? Keep it up fellas! 🤙
Awesome course. My parents lived right down the road from there. I played a few years ago when I visited and it was a great time!
Was just there last month and it was crazy to play at 11pm...with beautiful mountain back drops. Love it!
Awesome, my home coarse, along with Palmer. Tough year for the greens this summer.
This is one i have been waiting on. What a awesome place to play golf. BustaJack on top!
Tarps are so the cold wind wont tear up the greens. We do the same in Minnesota on some holes that see the harsh wind. If you don't tarp them it kills the greens in spots
This series is so dope!!! When are you coming to Oregon? I’d love a picture man.
Came across this channel 4 days ago and now I can’t stop watching your videos
No specs today for the big dog, looking good! “You’ll get there” on hole to was great from Busta 😂 man cracks me up
I already know this is going to be a BANGER!
“You purple people eater”. I literally sprayed out my dinner and burst out laughing 😂
I just love these two
Love your content boys. It's always a good day when a new video drops
Loving that you boys came to my home state and home course. Hope you guys enjoyed yourselves.
Do you have a compiled list anywhere of all the courses you've played and what states are left to come? This is by far my favorite golf series on YT.
Yall are awesome!
Tough course conditions, but you guys always having fun. Alaska state bird, of course what you guys were swatting @ the ginormus mosquito. LOL
Great stuff love the. Midnight sun
Love the honesty looked super lush
Phenomenal content boys!
When you go to Minnesota you gotta play TPC Twin Cities or Superior National. In wisconsin I highly recommend Erin Hills or Whistling Straits. I feel like y’all would love any of those courses and it would great to see you guys take ‘em on
Clicked on the video twice to give a like and comment. Spectacular content boys! I look forward to the next one!
Haha! The drilling comment, you nailed it! Blue collar dollars baby!
Whoever had the OU hoodie on and was helping Busta get through the snow, you da real MVP
this is by far my favorite series, how was it traveling and such with drones?
I've been waiting for this one! Let's go boys!
Entertaining AND educational. The gnat convo killed me!
Man what an absolutely incredible experience....and you're probably glad it's over, lol. Still tons of fun to watch. A lot of bounce out of the rough too, lol
Awesome. 8 pm with sun like that I can play all day! Great vid busta jack
Shout out to the boys at BustaJack. This series is elite!
You guys should play a course on every island when you guys come to Hawaii🤙🏽 love the content, keep it up boys🤙🏽
Just played settlers yesterday. Course is already in much better shape after a few days of sun.
I need you guys to play Arcadia Bluffs or Greywalls Golf Course when you guys come to Michigan.
When y’all go to Maine play Sunday River Golf Course. absolutely stunning course.
Hey awesome!! There are two cities(and maybe more that dont sleep in June) you are in one...the other is Reykjavík Iceland...very good golf at midnight less bugs ...Stationed there USN from 98 to 2000...go to Iceland..you will not regret it.
@madjack you have the most beautiful slow tempo swing of all time! GOATED!!!
Great video!
Best golf series on the UA-cams
Quality work again gents. You’ve got us wishing there were more than 50 states!
Grew up in Alaska, played a lot of junior tournaments at Settlers Bay. Great course, but imo Moose Run Creek course is the best course in Alaska top to bottom.
That’s my man Amos who runs that place. Played it at 11:30pm. Loved it!
madjack hitting woods is my favorite, swing is like butter
You guys need to golf Old Works in Anaconda, MT when you end up coming this way. Love that course!
Man, those greens are brutal!!
Played the course 4-5 times a few years ago! Was in much better condition when I was there, the greens rolled way better than they appeared to in the video. Hope you guys had a great time!
Wonder if they have had a rough winter or if they arent in full growing season just yet.
I imagine taking care of a course in Alaska isnt easy.
@@lfish21. it''s tough to get grass to grow when you set rain and snow records in the last year, and temps are pretty moderate even on the good days. Been a rough year for golf here.
@@timanders3151 definitely thought this could be the case.
Much like a good can of Coors Light I believe the rating would’ve changed had the mountains been shining.. you guys made the best of it though. Love the series
If you are still in Alaska. Go play Moose Run - Creek Course. My favorite course that I played while living up there a few years ago.
Those putts were hilarious lol bobbing and weaving
When ya'll get to Delaware you should play Baywood Greens, great scenery and one of the best courses in Delaware.
Still think best concept on UA-cam golf.
let’s goo! love the videos guys!
The sigh on the short roll put hit my core
Mason yelling “slippage” on that fourth tee shot was great
You guys are some gnat-turals. Wish the sun would have peaked out so we could peep them views, but there was a pretty sweet rock. It was probably a small model of that mountain range. 👍🏻
Holy hell you guys are funny. Already cracking up about the guh’nats.
Edit: also, “Seagull?! Where?”
Ya'll need to come to Kentucky!
Huge amounts of rain last summer. Huge amounts of snow this last winter. Temps have been very moderate. Been a tough couple of summers for growing grass in Alaska. I work at Palmer Municipal GC, Settlers is generally a nice golf course, this year has been tough.
I love Jacks swing
Wish I could subscribe twice to you guys cause it's just good stuff. 3 lay ups what do you expect lol
When you boys come to Connecticut. Play either Wintonbury Hills or Great River in Milford or Keney Park all 3 public, all 3 excellent
Loving the series boys.
Best
“New tee box, puttin some money into the course” 😅
So cool to golf in a area that nobody probably ever thinks of golfing because they focus on fishing and hunting. Cool idea, love seeing different places, keep it up fellas!🏌️
Last time I was in Anchorage they said there was a population of 1,000 moose within city limits. Beautiful up there. My 7 kids are native Alaskan from the Arctic Circle. ❤
7 kids? Christ
@@folland34 yup, we adopted all siblings. We had to step up and keep the kids together.
Okay this video just gave me visual proof of why I have to hit the range before playing every single time. MadJack startin with two duffs and Nutt not getting green in reg on a 430 par 4 gives me all the reason I need to range before play. Lose 3-5 strokes when I don’t now that I realize it
“Get there! Your light” 🤣🤣😂😂🤣
Love me some BustaJack!!
Beautiful Alaska sounds a million times better than this Texas heat the boys are battling through. Enjoy Fellas! Great golf content
welcome to golfing in ak, lol, greens are entirely at the whim of how our breakup goes (winter to spring) this year was horrible with some really really late snows, and then no sun for like 2 months. Setlers does have on adv our best greens, Debatably, AGC (in anch) is the nicer adv course, and their greens this year are def kicking off, and it's a way more punishing course.
Headed to Alaska in 5 days for vacation.. :)
Surprised to see busta not hiking the peaks of Alaska in Jordans 😂😂😂
Patiently waiting for Texas.. wonder which one they’ll play.
When you come to Greensboro, NC. Let me know
You guys need to play Saratoga National golf club (in Saratoga Springs, NY) or any of the courses at Turning stone Resort and Casino (in Verona, NY). 🤙⛳️
The real question is when are you all coming to Kentucky?! Love the vids tho. Keep it up!
So I actually work at this golf course and you guys shoulda played it in mid july, y’all played earlier season when our greens haven’t came in fully
Yeah boiii love the content boys
Where we Golfin in Wisconsin?! I’m ready!
24:45 missed the perfect opp to call that a flier bounce Jack. Cmon!
You guys should've played lighthouse sound in Ocean city MD, longest cart bridge in the United States
Blue ridge golf trail in PA fellas....play all 27 holes 🔥
“Is that a flier?”
“I hope so.” 😂
