I have a solution for stuck or items not working because of disuse. Use a sawzall or reciprocating saw, without the blade, and place it against the item and vibrate it with the tool. I got the windshield washer pump working using this method…
Does anyone know where I can find the fuel pumps online for a 2002 thunderbird I can find the actual fuel pump one but not the other one that just sends fuel to the other side of tank mine are just destroyed from sitting in fuel all these years
I have had overheating issues forever on my 2004. It's in the shop now for coolant leaks. I know it needs the thermostat housing, and I'm afraid this has finally progressed to the head gaskets. I'll find out next week.
I have a 2002 and today 5/23 the overheating light turned on. However, it went off in about 10 seconds - before it happened I turned on the AC. Any idea if me turning on the AC caused the overheating !? Cheers 🦅
@@af2033 I was told that turning on the AC actually helps relieve overheating. I didn't expect that, but...My overheating problem was caused by the housing for the hoses and thermostat, which is plastic and tends to crack.
No you didn't.He really never said how to unless you bring it to a shop that has a vacuum type of machine to suck out the air but other than that he never got into any real details.

Great info. Couldnt overheating also be caused from a defective water pump?
Water pumps typically leak when they go bad

Do these motors have the same issues as the GM Northstar engine if they overheat with the head studs?
No, it's just the headgasket that goes (I had to do one on a Nordstar once and am painfully familiar with the studs)
