Unfortunately Ugandans doctors are not well trained to treat cancer ,they need to take a leaf from agakhan Nairobi,how can the reporter tell us that you are equipped to treat cancer without a PET scan ,I lost my dad 1month ago due to cancer am not.even sure his.doctors knew what they were treating ,he was given 1 week radiation and the cancer progressed to his brain ,also.the other meds he was put on did not work because he had aggressive cancer that mutated ,these doctors don't even do follow up scans to.makesure the treatment is working ,my advise to the president is to.ask the ministry of health to start educating people about preventing cancer through regular early screening, instead of trying to treat it because it's expensive.,
Be respectful. Losing your father was hard enough but it doesn't give you the right to judge the competence of Ugandan doctors. It is not the responsibility of the doctors to purchase the required equipment to use at the institute, that is the role of government. Your father most likely got diagnosed late due to delay in in getting him to the experts. Don't ever disrespect our Doctors again because they have successfully treated many to recovery
So sorry bro, buh truth be told, cancer treatment at such institutions is so costly buh I have heard testimonials from cancer servivors who opted herbal medicine provided the cancer was not yet in stage 4, cancer can be cured, buh as u have said earlier diognosis is very important
