As I understood Leanne must write an official agreement to that. And now she is in coma (if I understand right) and is not able to do that. Relatives can't do it without her agreement.
Assisted dying is completely different from denying life prolonging measures. Assisted dying means you decide when you want to die [you are fully conscious and in full possession of your mental power]. You can practically invite your family, get life ending medication and fall asleep, except you are dying in a comforting manner. You have to be eligible for the procedure, meaning it depends on the law and the terminal state of your illness. Leanne was eligible and wanted to die on her own terms, but she [and Nicole] missed the right moment. Now Leanne is not able to actively say yes and demand life ending medication [let’s say because she’s too weak or her body’s just giving up]. In the state she is in now, they can only ease her pain and let her drift away [provided that Leanne decided about these procedures beforehand in written form or agreed orally to certain terms involving Nic/her doctor]. All this differs from country to country and is quite complicated.
Thanks for the upload, Nicole is never going to forgive her self, it's bloody awful to see someone die like that, harper and phil have finally managed to admit there feelings, about bloody time,
i’m rooting for Phil and Harper so much! it started just as affair and i thought it’s gonna end like affair, but now you can clearly see that these two are in love 😭 now i’m too invested and i want them happy and together so bad!
What is ihaia talking about?! It was either Phil's life or her arm and Harper was willing to cut off Phil's arm to save Phil's life. Love. Ihaia was a coward with no suggestions. He would have let Phil die with both of her arms attached to her body. Harper came up with Plan B. Thankfully, Phil's plan C was the best choice.
It’s good that they’re pretty educational about the possibility, procedures and time frames of assisted dying, but now that it’s legally too late I fear that Nic might do it herself. Or maybe they could go around that by telling Leanne was conscious and aware one last time. However, it hurts to see Nic like this!!! 😢
The heart wants what the heart wants and let's face it her and drew were never right for each other anyway it's about time she be with a woman again one she's actually in love with

But you cannot *actively* kill a human being because you are in the possession of signed papers. This is such a sensitive topic. It’s all about legal and even more about ethical matters. We are talking about ‘assisted death/suicide’ here. Imagine that person changed their mind, or there was a mix-up with the paperwork. You can have a lot of things taken care of in hospital or palliative care, e.g. wanting life support devices to be turned off when you cannot breathe on your own or when you have organ failure and so on, mostly leading to a natural death. But this Assisted Dying you have to confirm yourself again last minute, still alive! You have to be able to express your own will! Stealing from the added link above for better understanding, this is what happened to Leanne: “This means if the person is found eligible for assisted dying but then loses competency, they cannot have an assisted death.”
I enjoy watching Phil and Harper ..... What worries me is that Phil is a player...... I hope if her a Harper actually get together will she actually settle down ....
Wait how come she didn't wake up and how come they can't give her the drug now?
As I understood Leanne must write an official agreement to that. And now she is in coma (if I understand right) and is not able to do that. Relatives can't do it without her agreement.
Nicole is going to give her the drug, so her mum can rest in peace and her last wish to her mother

I just realized Phil hurt her right arm and harper her left, which, if that's not some metaphor for soulmates, I don't know what is.
