Actually I was looking for this kind of video, my mom told me that she is gonna buy me a color set for my birthday (December 12nd)but both brands are the same price in my local Amazon sooooo I'm looking for this kind of videos and I think I'll go for prismacolor, for the color range and later I'll get Derwent or a small set.
No colored pencil can compare to the creamy, buttery, lipstick perfection that is a prismacolor. They blend like like oil pastel in pencil form. They're so soft you can lightly press and smoosh the tip into the paper and they crumble like dust with the lightest pressure. I don't know how they're made, but they are in my opinion the best colored pencils. If you want something harder then polychromos are the choice instead.
I agree partially, but the Caran d’Ache are also very creamy - and additional, other than tge Prismacolor, they are lightfast, too. I prefer the Caran d’Ache for that reason, but as they are very pricey, the Prismacolor are a good beginner’s choice. And I’d prefer them over Derwent, too
What Caran D’ache luminance or Pablo? Both great pencils. I love vibrant creamy pencils and enjoy prismas because that reason. Have many sets of pencils but always reach for them. Luminance are great but so expensive I don’t like to use them.
@@Bloomkyaaayeah, because of their lightfast pigments which won’t fade for 50+ years in each pencil. That’s the only reason. Pigments are expensive to source. There is nothing else special about them.
Hooray! A new video! ❤ I really love the concept of drawing a mirrored frog with two sets of pencils, both sides look really similar :) well done!
Thank you very much! I love frog drawing as well!
❤❤❤thank you for this review! I love the drawing comparison, so beautiful! I think I’m going to order some Chromaflows now, I must try them! 😊😊😊

@@MF-bz3pz In my defense, I've never used Caran d’Ache 😅
