I haven’t used LED light matrices for videography myself, so I haven’t had to deal with that. You have a nice setup, and it is great that you can use that to earn income. You may want to check your privilege with regard to calling yourself a poor college student. I suspect you may be backstopped by a level of generational wealth that not everyone has. This doesn’t lessen your accomplishment, but it is important context for you to integrate into your developing world view. I respect and admire what you do. I offer this as advice, not criticism. I’ve had to learn empathy about my own privilege. We don’t have to feel bad, but in-order to develop empathy we have to understand the ways in which the world isn’t fair. Beware the mythos of the entirely self made man.
are you going to get a pro display??, I also been trying to convert the house into an apple smart home but Ive been considering the Samsung M8 coz its both a monitor and smart tv which is better than having to buy multiple Apple TVs

think you would have more fun with the Samsung M8. Use the extra money to get some more HomeKit accessories including plugs, lights, bulbs and door locks.
