I have this lens pair it with my ZVE1. It is my only lens. No prime lenses, as i love simplicity. I’m restraining from buying other lens and just learn to understand this lens strength. Love your video.
Just seems like a bad time to buy a camera or lens. Like you said wont be a year before the next gen stuff will be announced. Tough spot. Don't really want to be stuck with 8k iso in bad lighting. The apsc crop was a great business decision......

thanks a lot. Really happy to read your comment on this. All the best from Cologne/germany, Daniel
All factors considered, price and all, one of the best lenses EVER made.
thank you very much for your feedback. Daniel
Good review ! Have you tried it with crop mode or the Sony Clear image zoom fonction to increase your focal length ? What were your results ? Thanks !
Thank you.
Well, you will reduce your resolution to 14 MP on this 33 MP sensor.
Apart from that, great results.
Awesome low light 💡 performance
@@the_daniel_life for clear image zoom you don't need to ! It will give you a X2 zoom like a 140mm focal length 👍

I know the cycles are way too short. However a super versatile lens
I have it with me at the moment. For daily work, works just fine. Daniel
any plans to compare/review against the Sony 24_50 f2.8? Thanks
Thank you. I might think of it. Daniel
What about the new 24-50 f2.8 vs this? Thanks
For a zoom lens, focal range matters more. A 20-70mm with a prime 50 or 85mm F1.8 lens is a great combo
well, 4 and 20mm less. I try to test it. Daniel
Indeed. I have also the 50mm 1.4 GM. Great combo, light weight with a super wide angle view. Daniel
If it is 20-50 f2.8 or 24-50 f2.0, then it worth buying. Otherwise I would choose 20-70 f4 over 24-50 f2.8
What about the Sony 24-50mm f2.8 G?
Well less focal length
@@the_daniel_life but lighter smaller and f2.8?
That one is more expensive and light by only 30 grams. Plus this one gets you 20 and 51-70mm.
отдельное спасибо за сравнение фокусных 20-24
What?
@@the_daniel_life thanks
Daniel I have not watched your channel in years.
And now you? 👍
