Athlete of the Year | Laurel's Tori Atkins defends titles and adds state crown to resume

Laurel High’s Tori Atkins does one thing better than most athletes in Lawrence County ... defending championship titles. Atkins, a junior, solidified her hold on WPIAL championships on the track and climbed to the top of the mountain by becoming a state champion this season.
For her efforts, Atkins was named the girls Lawrence County Athlete of the Year, as voted on by the New Castle News sports staff.
