    Part Three: So I tried Bump Patrol when I went on leave. I started from "ground zero". I changed my blade, shaving gel and preparation. I'd say about three weeks after using both Bump Patrol Shave Gel and then Bump Free, I could see a difference in my skin and the way my hairs responded to shaving. The key for me was to use an exfoliant pad before I shaved. The pad "hooked" the ingrown hairs that I did have and literally stood them up for a clean shave.

    Been using the bump patrol shaving gel and after shave for 2 months now in my opinion it's the best product there is for razor bumps haven't had any razor bumps at at all I refuse to use anything else can't wait till they start making a moisturizer and a post shaving tea tree oil

      Appreciate the support. We have released a highly rated skin moisturizer that people rave about post shave. In addition we have some face wash that gives that fresh feeling especially on a clean face.

    I use to use Tend Skin years ago but had to stop because it was drying my skin out too much. I recently started shaving my head and decided to give blade razors one more chance to speed up my shave time. Gave Bump Patrol a try for the first time last night for a little trouble I was starting to see on the back of my neck. Saw good results first day and didn't have to apply tons of moisturizer afterwards. Good stuff, does it come in a gallon?

    Great demo and info but why is he shaving both downward and upward his face? I thought it is because we shave against the direction of the hair that "causes" bumps????

    My brother, you'd be wrong in your assumption about me being one of those "lucky brothers that have zero to minor razor bumps." As a military man, I have to stay clean shaven. Trying to shave properly when 30 other guys are trying to do the same thing aboard ship, is a task in itself. There was no time to prep, moisturize, nothing. Consequently, my face looked like 10 miles of bad bumpy road! Ingrown hairs, discoloration, embarassment.

    Part Two: So one of my senior sailors turned me on to Bump Patrol because he was having the same problem. He showed me some pics he had his wife take of his face before he started using the product. I thought MY face was bad!!! This brotha had that permanent "five o'clock shadow" look. And what made it worse looking was that he was 'high yella brotha.'

    What if your hair growth is very random on your neck area. It goes up, down, side to side, diagonal etc

    • @bumppatrol
      @bumppatrol  2 роки тому

      In an ideal world we would like to train that hair by starting with a clean face and giving it direction by allowing it to grow and then using a tight brush. once you get the directional growth it should last moving forward. The first period is the hardest to establish.

    "Skin stretching" is probably the worst thing you can do while you shave. Think about this: if your hair is curved and "course" and you "stretch" your face to shave it, what happens when a sharp object cuts over something course that's been pulled? Go ahead I'll wait...That's right! It cuts it at an "angle" henceforth putting a sharp tip on the hair. When the hair starts to grow again, guess what happens now? Right again! That sharp tip grows back into the skin and forms a bump.

    Part Four: If you take some time to "free" your existing hairs with a tweezer, and then moisturize your face before you shave, you'll see an even greater difference than you have experienced. Now if Skin Tight works for you, great. But since you say that it hasn't "completely cured you of razor bumps", give Bump Free another try. You just may be pleasantly surprised.
