Pro of being an adult, I can eat 20 cookies and nobody can stop me. Con of being an adult, I ate 20 cookies, nobody stopped me and now I feel awful...lol.
FYI: there is a board-game called Redneck Life which is tragic, inappropriate and hysterical. My family loves it. All the players start with no money. You roll 2 dice to determine the highest grade that you completed in school. All the players go into debt and have to try to work their way out of it. You end up losing a bunch of teeth, getting married, divorced, remarried and inherit a bunch of step kids who are all named Darryl. The winner of the game is the one with the most teeth remaining at the end. If you have extra cash at the end you can buy back teeth and if you’re still in debt at the end, you lose a tooth for each $100 that you’re in the hole.
My parents had a budget for Christmas gifts. We couldn't ask for anything that cost more than $60. Quite generous but still, giving us the concept of budget.
MASH, origami/fortune teller game, Dream Phone, Mall madness etc!! Ahh the 90s!!!! Miss those days. Best years. ❤this was fun y’all! Also, yah the dragon fruit is so healthy and yummy and we’ll make “nice cream” with frozen bananas in Vitamix, and add dragon fruit to make bubblegum pink! So fun! 💖
Oh my gosh this episode! 😂😂😂 I love it! So much nostalgia! I was definitely a Barbie girl, I wanted the Jeep sooo bad, but my parents wouldn’t let me have it. I think the 90’s were great because they had just the right amount of all the “good” things, but none of the “bad” things. Internet, but no social media (unless you count chat rooms). Cellphones, but no touchscreen smart phones. I could go on, and on. It was such a great time. ❤
My kidult purchase would be a giant dollhouse to decorate or a Barbie dream house!! My Barbie had furniture made from old tissue boxes or toilet paper tubes… I remember my favorite birthday she got blow up furniture! 😂
As a man who was raised with two older sisters Mall Madness is a must play. I know it has credit cards, but pretend it's a debit because you still use money. Also, I may have Mall Madness in my car.
OMG! Every time I played the game of Life I ended up with two cars of kids...😂 Now it's realistic since we have 5 kids. 😅 I also never ended up with a house at this point I never see it happening.
LOVED this episode!!! I would say the game I LOVED as a kid was POGS. I collected as many of them as I could, especially since you could get them inside of bags of chips. The millennial nostalgia is so real. I impulse bought a bag of marbles recently, but ended up using it in a lesson with my students, so it worked out.
I feel like you guys give Rachel all the scripts w the big words and then she can’t pronounce them and then laughs 😂. She cracks me up and has a great laugh!
I was an avid monopoly board collector when I was younger. (Definitely not a mint condition guy. I played with all of them a lot) I remember the switch to electric banking over cash in monopoly. It was a traumatic childhood experience. I had a first edition that had the visa logo, and a later board that had a bold type DEBIT CARD printed on the cards. Also not relevant to the topic but still a treasured possession. My aunt was stationed in Seoul South Korea with the Army when I was a collector. So I have a monopoly board based on USA locations that's entirely written in Korean.
I wanted the pink power wheels Barbie Jeep desperately. My mom said no because Santa couldn't fit it on the sleigh. The real reason was that my sister who was 2 years older would not be able to fit in it. Also, they didn't want to have to buy 2 of them.
Step by step supposedly took place in Port Washington but I can tell you there are no rollercoasters in Port Washington. 😆 But it is a nice city on Lake Michigan. I love living near Lake Michigan. (I’m not in PW though). People think of cheese and beer in WI but our greatest assets are the Big Lakes (Lake Michigan and Lake Superior). Anyone who visits needs to visit our lakeshores!
If they did a Monopoly movie, it should definitely feature DR and/or the Ramsey personalities cuz they're basically a live-action version of the game LOL
The og Jumanji movie was based on a children’s book, and board games were created after the movie. And I love nostalgia!! 90s Con is like my Disney World 😅 Rachel should go!! A fortune teller? That thing is a cootie catcher!! 😂😂
Fun episode. There aren't that many shows that film a lot of fun shots or sequences just for the opening credits anymore, they just use clips from the episodes. The Friends water fountain scenes would fun.
Friends set has been travelling around for over a year now. You can sit on the coffee shop couch, stand in the hall outside their apartments, or at the fountain.. For fifty bucks. It was just in Toronto.
Man. I have more nostalgia for American Girl than I even do for Barbie. I had too many American Girl dolls and I still have my Felicity and Elizabeth and all their outfits. Idec how old I am Can’t help but add this edit: you found out you’re wrong when you thought you were right (about Genesis) (iykyk lol)
They should definitely make a Ramsey movie. It would be about Dave's early days and would show how he lost everything and eventually started Ransey Solutions..
You wouldn't understand the Barney thing unless you had parents that didn't care about you or were to busy. I cried when yall started talking about Barney.
I was more into Polly Pockets. There was that disney original movie where the barbie became life sized and came to life..I can't remember what it was called...but It was pretty good :)
Parents wouldn't get me one either but of course my mom knew I wouldn't play with it so I had to save up to get it if I wanted it. She was right. I didn't play with it. Not sure who actually sent me the magazine that came in the mail 🤦🏻♀️
firbys, tamagotchi's, legos, pokemon, digimon, power rangers, and lincoln logs. i used to have my folks spend gobs on pokemon cards, figurines (toys), and gameboy games!! & id love to finance my own "pokemon journey" ie nomadic traveling the country maybe even play pokemonGO while i go lmaoooooo as an adult i almost bought the power ranger morphers from toys r us before they went extinct. the lego movies are comedic gold!!
Child of the 50's, i wanted a Barbie so badly. When i got it i was so disappointed. So plastic. So unimaginative. Definitely a lesson in not caving to markets.
Poly pocket would be a cute movie kinda l would be a play on the Indian in the Cupboard. Have a girl pull out the poly pocket and a whole world is inside :) go inside and have fun then come back to her reality
I wanted the original Barbie so much. I was the o my one in the classroom that didn’t have it. And my father bought it but… it was a replica that didn’t hav Thea flexing knees and arms.. I got so disappointed with him and with life and with Santa.. it was one thing I ever asked my dad.. small kid’s dramas.. 😂

I love this show! I listen to it while I clean my house every Thursday 😊
Are you a minimalist yet? It'll definitely change your life. Less clutter, less cleaning. 🙂
Things I bought as an adult because I didn't get as a child: trampoline, candy, trip to Disney world!
So fun! 💖

(Dave VS Credit Card Barbie) "Barbie, you're plastic enough, you need a plasectomy!" 😂
Is it bad that I look forward to this every week??😂
No way! I also look forward to it every week!
Is there an FPU board game? If not, you guys should make one.
Second that!
There is a rich dad poor dad game and if u use the fpu principals u win!!
Rachel, you can do the Friends thing. Take the Universal Studio VIP back lot tour in Hollywood. They have all the sets from those shows.
Big fan of this podcast, you guys are so fun to listen to.
My kidult purchase would be a giant dollhouse to decorate or a Barbie dream house!! My Barbie had furniture made from old tissue boxes or toilet paper tubes… I remember my favorite birthday she got blow up furniture! 😂
Rachel: "Old movies, from like, the 90's"
😂😂😂
I mean the 90s were now 30 years ago.
Rachel, remember that board game called Mall Madness??? It had ALL the credit cards!!!!!!!!!!!! Ha!
Welp, if I just listened for 20 more seconds after posting this, I would have not posted this. LOL! Woops.
As a man who was raised with two older sisters Mall Madness is a must play. I know it has credit cards, but pretend it's a debit because you still use money. Also, I may have Mall Madness in my car.
We need an episode discussing Eras Tour and it’s impact on the economy

POG juice is delicious. I tried it for the first time and fell in love with it on my cruise last month.
Thank you so much for poking fun at Rachel about getting sucked into the Jumanji game, that was hilarious 😂
Right there with Rachel!!! friends for sure!!! 2nd - saved by the bell. 3. Clarissa explains it all.
I feel like you guys give Rachel all the scripts w the big words and then she can’t pronounce them and then laughs 😂. She cracks me up and has a great laugh!

Ok y’all had to talk about Battleship the movie being a bomb, now it’s on TV! 😂 umbrella and taken!!
Literally just played life for the 1st time last year at 36yo! Wish I had it when I was younger! It’s great!
My two favorite quotes: “Barbie is a trust fund baby.”
“Is this how crypto works?”
🤣🤣🤣
Love both of your takes on all the podcasts I have listened to. You are both hilarious and so fun to listen to/watch. 😁
I wanted the pink power wheels Barbie Jeep desperately. My mom said no because Santa couldn't fit it on the sleigh. The real reason was that my sister who was 2 years older would not be able to fit in it. Also, they didn't want to have to buy 2 of them.

A fortune teller? That thing is a cootie catcher!! 😂😂
You two are so fantastic together. Omg, I'm going to a "Friend's Experience" tomorrow in LA & it's only $94 Rachael ❤😊 plus gas for a 3 hour car ride.
Show I’d pay to do an intro on: Boy Meets World
Also they should make a Ramsey version of Life and Monopoly! I’d 100% buy those to play with my kids
Omg George! 6:31 you just reminded me that I used to love roller coaster tycoon and zoo tycoon. Those were some of my games of choice back in the day
Fun episode. There aren't that many shows that film a lot of fun shots or sequences just for the opening credits anymore, they just use clips from the episodes. The Friends water fountain scenes would fun.
George "They can't feel the love tonight" 😆😆 not Phil Collins.
Oh my goodness, this episode has me all in my nostalgic feels 💓 And Dream Phone was one of my favorite games too 😂 Thanks for the laughs, yall!
"There's gonna be glitter for days..." 😆
Literally on Wednesday night I go to bed excited so that I could wake up on in the morning to catch a new epicure of Smart Money Happy Hour 🍻
The show I would pay money to be included in the intro would have to be the Lizzie McGuire show! I loved the bouncing red balls lol.
Friends set has been travelling around for over a year now.
You can sit on the coffee shop couch, stand in the hall outside their apartments, or at the fountain..

I would absolutely want to do a remake of theme song for ZOOM! with all of my friends! That was my favorite show growing up. :)
Dream Phone!!! "Dan Dan Dan's my man!"
I love the picture on this episode!! You guys look JUST LIKE Barbie and Ken lol!
Rachael have you seen that LA Gear and Reebok has remade popular 90’s sneakers 😱
love this show -so much fun, and I am with you about friends
They also came out with Lisa Frank crocs😂 I would not buy them but I saw lots of people excited and commenting on them
I played Dream Phone ALL THE TIME!! And as an only child it was great cuz you could play alone😂🤣
Mall madness planted some bad shopping habit seeds 😂
"Is this game over? I want to go play with my friends?" 😆😆😆🤣😆
Barbie prom game, dream phone… that’s my childhood right there!
Missing Polly pocket
You wouldn't understand the Barney thing unless you had parents that didn't care about you or were to busy. I cried when yall started talking about Barney.
Battleship was great! Highly entertaining movie!
I agree with snacks! I love snacks and my mom would only let us have an apple.😅
Rachels earrings - I couldn't stop viewing them!!
I was more into Polly Pockets. There was that disney original movie where the barbie became life sized and came to life..I can't remember what it was called...but It was pretty good :)
Can’t wait to see this show on the road lol
You guys should make a Ramsey Monopoly game
My show to star in (even though no one remembers) Parker Lewis Can’t Lose.
Reply if you are old like me…
I loved that show.
Ok. I'm 71 and we made those fortune telling things when I was a kid. Funny how simple things like that stand the test of time.
Weirdest Barbie memory- we had a pet ferret that would steal my barbie, take it behind the fridge and chew it 😂
My sister loves to remind me that I would bite the hands and feet off her Barbies and bury them in the garden. 😂
My moms cat ate her barbies fingers.
Sooo love you guys dressed for the theme!!! I love it!!
GEORGE let's just hear the exact model of Nespresso machine to get please!
While watching this, I got an ad for an Air Bnb that is a life size Poly Pocket house!
Y'all gotta stop dropping these at 10 AM on a Thursday, because it makes me want a little cocktail while I'm working.
😂
Smallville song entrance!
I had a Barbie pink convertible power wheels!!! And loved mall madness game!
Racheal keeps wearing those JNCO jeans 😂
“Might get you a town home in Sheboygan if you’re lucky” 😅 wait, how do you know about Sheboygan? I live in WI so that’s why I know. 🙂
Or is he referring about Cheboygan, MI?
Woah those pink heels are awesome
Barbie toy market is way way up 😂😂😂 great time to sell. Wouldn't be surprised on a sequel, probably a given
I would love to be in the Full House intro!
I think you should go on the road. I can picture you two sitting on a beach somewhere doing the show.
Our monopoly game is done in with debit card. 🤣🤣🤣
I'd want to be in Full House!
Can't say i blame Rachel and George for not knowing that Battleship had a movie. It had absolutely nothing to with the board game.
Well my parents never got me an American Girl doll but I don’t need one now. 😂 They were right though, it is expensive!
Parents wouldn't get me one either but of course my mom knew I wouldn't play with it so I had to save up to get it if I wanted it. She was right. I didn't play with it. Not sure who actually sent me the magazine that came in the mail 🤦🏻♀️
‘What in tarnation’
George becomes a boomer lol
The video thumbnail is funny, Impressive Ken and Barbie lookalikes 🤪
No, Ken Coleman looks exactly like the Ken doll, hair and all! Americas favorite boyfriend!
firbys, tamagotchi's, legos, pokemon, digimon, power rangers, and lincoln logs.
i used to have my folks spend gobs on pokemon cards, figurines (toys), and gameboy games!! & id love to finance my own "pokemon journey" ie nomadic traveling the country maybe even play pokemonGO while i go lmaoooooo
as an adult i almost bought the power ranger morphers from toys r us before they went extinct.
the lego movies are comedic gold!!
With the Barney thing, they're literally ripping off the plot from the "Christopher Robin" movie 😂
I never got a power wheels. My kids have 4
Monopoly: Dave Ramsey addition! Make it happen ! 😂
I'm 7 months late but that would be "edition" not addition
I got to watch Richie Rich now. Been a long time since I’ve seen it.
Child of the 50's, i wanted a Barbie so badly. When i got it i was so disappointed. So plastic. So unimaginative. Definitely a lesson in not caving to markets.
Also surprised about genesis
i loved Battleship!! 😢
20:25 for the life is dark and full of insurance!
Love the pink heels!
you guys are fun .... especially George ...
Poly pocket would be a cute movie kinda l would be a play on the Indian in the Cupboard. Have a girl pull out the poly pocket and a whole world is inside :) go inside and have fun then come back to her reality

I got so disappointed with him and with life and with Santa.. it was one thing I ever asked my dad.. small kid’s dramas.. 😂
Mine would be friends but to be specific the episode Joey says "joey doesn't share food" and we would share a table and not food😂
Saved by the Bell!
I wonder if Battleship is better than Sharknado🤔
Threes company intro...at the zoo w jack tripper.
Yes. To Mall Madness. Although it had a credit card…
You should come out with a Ramsey version of Monopoly.
