No matter how much or how little you use your Roland BN-20 print/cut machine, it is recommended that you manually clean your print heads once a week for best results. Stahls' TV Presenter, Steven Jackson shows you step-by-step how to clean the inside of your machine using a foam swab and Roland Eco-Solvent Cleaning Solution to remove and dust, debris, or ink build-up.

Is this a new step? Tipping some of the cleaning fluid into the capping station? I have never seen this before, and not in the on screen instructions. Wondering if we should start adding that to our manual cleaning?
I have Done this. How long should i wait untill i can let the printer go home to starting point?
@@xatazchWish they would've answered your question or mentioned in the video, how dumb they left this important advice out 🤦🏽🤦🏽🤦🏽
How long you have to wait to operate the BN-20, after you place the cleaning solution in the capping station and allow it to settle the cleaning fluid that you've put in here will remove any dried or clogged ink from the drain lines going back to the waste bin.
Thanks for the question. Unfortunately, we no longer offer the BN-20. We recommend reaching out to Roland.dga for more help.
Thank you from Germany 🌻
where can we buy the cleaning liquid and cleaning cartridge? I misplaced my box of supplies and need to buy until I find where I misplaced mine.
We recommend reaching out to Rolanddga.com as we no longer offer this machine.
i want to buy a used one for 3.8k, but the owner already used the ink that came with it. if i wanted to use a CISS, would it require a head replacement? or can i flush out the old ink with head cleaner liquid?
Hello. It depends on the machine and how it was taken care of. We recommend starting with a head cleaning and flushing out the remaining old ink. Good luck!
I have a question my Roland ask me to insert the cleaning dummy but i throw away yhe foam example the ink what i have to do?😅
We recommend reaching out to Rolanddga.com for help with this.
I’m missing a full Cyan channel. Manual neither powerfull cleaning isn’t solving this. What should be the issue? All other color channels print perfectly at nozzle check
Ours had the same issue (less than a year old BN20) and they had to replace the dampers under warranty. No issues after that.
where and how do i find this folder on my computer i cant find it now
Please reach out to Rolanddga.com for tech support on this machine. We no longer carry it.
Great .Thanks
Is the print head easy to change?
This would be a service level replacement due to calibrations.
@@StahlsTV thanks for the info. I am debating on purchasing a new or used BN-20. Do you ruffly the service cost for head replacement?
THANK YOU.
You're welcome!
Thanks mate
Any time!
Mine often shows Magenta ink around the print head. Roland engineer told me as long as its printing OK not to worry too much?
Anyone else have this?
Hi Wayne - we unfortunately no longer sell this machine. If Roland said not to worry, we would believe them.
Mine does this as well. Printing good, but i keep wondering the same
