F.E. so many reviewers show off the projector picture with lights on which is just dumb for any projector lifestyle or not. GJ About Valerion on a comment bellow: totally looks like a game changer especially the black level function, so much so, it cripples and all other DLP manufacturers using pixel shifting. I'm curious to see your take, especially about that black level function and if it crushes shadow detail. I mean why is it on and off and not standard? 3.000 and 4.000 to 1 native contrast ratio is very impressive for a picture shifter with this chip though. cheers!
Thank you！ After hearing about Valerion for the first time yesterday, I checked out some reviews. The native contrast ratio of 3000:1 is indeed both puzzling and exciting. Not only that, its picture modes, supported formats, and color calibration options are very close to my ideal RGB laser projector! I'm full of anticipation 😊

Vous voulez dire placer le projecteur sur le côté de l’écran ? Si le projecteur n’est pas placé directement en face de l’écran mais sur le côté, un certain réglage de correction trapézoïdale est nécessaire. Plus l’angle de projection latérale est grand, plus l’amplitude de la correction trapézoïdale est importante, ce qui affecte davantage la netteté. En général, une légère correction trapézoïdale n’a pas un impact significatif sur la netteté pour le visionnage.

The RS10 Ultra has the highest contrast at brightness setting 6, around 2000. This projector, however, reaches between 3000 and 4000 and also features EBL to further enhance dynamic contrast. Combined with HDR tone mapping, it should theoretically perform better, though this is just my inference based on the information. However, the RS10 Ultra’s eye protection mode, with its more continuous spectrum, makes viewing less tiring.
