- Today we are comparing three of Eastmans rosewood based guitars. The classic dreadnought E20D, the parlor sized E20P and the modern AC812CE.
We've been shocked at how amazing these guitars play and sound for the money. These are great alternatives to the big brands out there. In this video we wanted to illustrate how body size and construction will influence the tone. Even though these guitars have similar woods, they sound completely different. We hope this video helps you decide which Eastman guitar is best for you.

Great comparison. Just bought an e20p. Love it👍
The guitarist is not impressive on acoustic guitars. The style P may be billed as a Parlor guitar, but it doesn’t sound much like the usual old parlor guitars. It sounds like an old Martin Size 0, which is a very good thing!
@hawg427 The designs are very similar but Eastman is producing the guitars at a fraction of the cost, and at times, using superior woods. For what it's worth, we are no longer a Martin dealer and have decided to carry Eastman instead. Thanks for watching!
I don't think there is a really different style in the last two sections. There was nothing I could call "fingerpicking", you should have at least harp some notes
That E20P does sound boxy at all when strummed hard. Sounds damn good.
I don't see any Eastman guitars listed on your website. Is it updated? I'm interested in the E20p.
Great video If you put this through a nice set of speakers you can really hear the difference in each model!
This should be the standard by which all other youtube demo vids are measured!
what song is he playing at 1:53??????????, it sounds sooo good!!
They Sound nice. How do they compare to Martin?
I had a great 3 days in LA and San Diego at several guitar stores, 8 hours per day... lot's of playing and comparing! All I was playing was small body Martin, Larrivee and Eastman guitars. Long story, short conclusion... I now own an E10P and it is not because it was less expensive. I love this little gem.
still sounds ok?
Crazy how he's NOT reading his text!
Very good review
Yeah! You read that script!!
