Thanks! Also does the turbo oil drain where mechanical fuel pump goes? If you used electric lift pump do you have part # of it? I can’t seem to find any
@@squarebodyk1057 yup I deleted the mech pump and used that for oil drain. Oil feed is T off the pressure port on rear of motor. The electric pump I used is a walbro frb-5. But the oem 6.5 pump is cheaper and works fine.
In this video I just had the battery sitting in there. I have since made both batteries fit on the tray and secured. This was just my test start to check for leaks and such.
@@tonystewartdalejrThat’s good. Things do get tight in the engine bay with a turbo. I would have preferred GM put the batteries on either side of the radiator like the civilian models.
@@rangerismineyeah I debated that but they both fit nicely on the tray and I was able to make a hold down for them. I’m not a huge fan of all that weight on one tray but it’s been doing good so far.
Looks and sounds like it's a runner !! Nice job Big 👏
Did you use the 6.2 or 6.5 intake gaskets? I am going to do this and the gaskets I bought just say for the 6.2? Is there a difference?
I used the 6.5 gaskets. But that's because I got a mahl set off rock auto that had all of them for both the upper and lower intakes.

where did you get the cat fuel filter replacement?
It’s just a generic filter head o got off eBay and then the cat filters I got through work. Total cost was less than $40 with the filter.
There are no 6.2 turbo diesel? What did you have to do to turn it into a turbo?
I used a 6.5 manifold and then made my own crossover. I'm running a wh1c turbo with a custom made downpipe.
Oh OK thanks. I have a 6.2l block would I need to use 6.5 heads? Or can I keep the 6.2l heads on there?
@@Patryk24k just the manifolds and then a bunch of little stuff.
Does the turbo hold up the battery?
