Watched this one yesterday and really enjoyed seeing Dakota Johnson playing a lesbian. She did a good job showing the emotional turmoil that can happen when coming to terms with one's sexuality.
I agree with you that there should've been more screen time for Lucy and Brittany, but what they had was well done. I also agree that Brittany did Lucy wrong. She wasn't mean to her, but dang, it was kinda cold how she told Lucy it was just a one-time thing.
I really liked the actress playing Jane. There was a point where I wondered if Jane and Lucy were gonna get together, but I think it was better that they remained just friends.
Good movie, I'd say 8/10. Enjoyed your review and agree with you 95%. Looking forward to the next one. ❤👩‍❤️‍👩🌈👍

Good intentions, but lightweight at best. Even the movie poster of sobbing Dakota Johnson and opening credits with still photos might clue you in. However, with the dearth of movies featuring women loving women, I get the enthusiasm for this 90 minute movie. I highly recommend the heartbreaking Portrait of a Lady on Fire and Carol.
