I actually love the slide work on this song, I think it adds so much to the piece as a whole.
Looking for songs with the word ocean in it, so I stumbled upon this one and I'm hooked! I'm in love with the lyrics and melody!

I really love her work, it's so honest, but the amount of slide guitar in this album winds me up, I've never liked it as an instrument, it just makes anything sound like corny American country music whenever it's used; every time I hear it the song 'freedom isn't free' from 'Team America' comes into my mind. =P
She is such a brilliant song writer, wish there were no slide guitar though!
