In this video I install door locks in the Mustang II. This installation is applicable to many older cars. Most of them had similar setups if not the same.

Oh, one more thing Terence, You are the ONLY video I could find that actually show the proper lock arm orientation for BOTH sides. I would have installed my locks with the arms facing backwards! Thank you very much for going over that. NO one else has. Blessings to you!!!

1994 cannot get clip back on !!
My clip goes top down
Wow ok tip for all
My old clip like I said was top down
But new one goes sideways like the video
But still frustrating
As got everything together and clip came loose
On all the way
I might try a dap of gasket sealer on back of clip

+1 on the change in direction from top down to left to right side in terms of the clip. Did you have any pictures or videos of the 94 specific install? I just broke one of the clips trying to force it on via the side.

Any advice from you? I took the door off, and I put it back, I was all good. I adjusted but then I row the windows up and it came to not closing the door at all.

When you close the door, does the window rest on the weatherstripping? Does all of the body lines align correctly? I am trying to understand what do you mean about it not closing because you can adjust the striker to allow it to close correctly if need be. Remember, it's a two latch system.

@@TerenceDIY I mean the latch won't catch on the strike. I Adjusted, and as I said, any time I roll the window up or down, won't catch it.
