44:41 creating a second copy of Twinflame Tyrant would not work as an additional damage doubler since the ability is a replacement effect rather than a trigger (?)
Almost all damage amplifiers are replacement effects. But that only means the affected player gets to choose the order they apply to them. (which is why you usually don't want to mix additive with multiplicative effects)
High fae trickster seems really good. Potentially cEDH good. Neerdiv too can help you dig for interaction if you're doing a breach combo and someone is waiting to interact at a specific time. Blasphemous Edict, yea 2nd best boardwipe, but in Meren probably number over toxic deluge IMO. Scrawling crawler has already made it into some games in a Valgavoth deck and its punisher effect far outweighed the downside of giving away cards. Alongside other punisher effects its quite good. I also think Abbysal Harvester is far better than it was given credit. Its not just a reanimate effect, its graveyard hate first and foremost IMO. I dont think this is for aristocrats as much as you guys think either. It snipes problem permanents in opponents graveyards and can be used politically prior to a boardwipe to ensure something wont come back if that wrath is not exile based.
Dionus has synergies with conjurer's closet, roaming throne, hardened scales, doubling season, proliferate, the ozolith and ozolith mkII- he is an elfball mana doubler and lord 2 in 1. I suspect he will make pEDH elfes a force to be reckoned with... and may receive the Erenis "kill on sight with prejudice" treatment.
Loot is actually much more like Golos than Azusa. First ability which ramps, second ability which spends mana to look at the top few cards and get one for free. Obviously Loot restricts you to mono green, but that's increasingly not a downside.
i think the crawler concept is a nice one but i agree it should be a bit more powerful. But i think they didnt because it is an upkeep trigger and we got a couple of effects that give you extra upkeeps so i guess tho avoid making it "too good" they had to limit the potential. I definitly put Twinflame Dragon into my Sarkhan Commander deck, quadrupling every dmg in the turn it entered sounds like a flying red scaly nightmare
I'm the type of Blue Mage that plays Leyline of Anticipation in every blue deck and Vedalken Orrery in a lot of decks. High Fae Trickster is Leyline with flash and Flying on a 4/2...Yeah I'm playing that.
The main sticking point for banner of kinship over coat of arms to me is that, if you are playing the card properly, you should ONLY play it when you’re about to win the game. If you get stopped and your board gets wrathed, your opponents will 100% kill you if you have either artifact on the board. If COA is your best overrun, then Banner is your second best, and vice versa. Banner is probably solely better due to fog meta lmao. There’s no reason to run one without the other.
Well that didn’t take long. I’ve started playing a game when it comes to the Goldfish crew, see how long into any given video it takes for someone to mention Farewell or Sunfall. The amount of free real estate these two card occupy in your collective minds is fascinating! lol
Neerdiv goes straight into my Oskar Rubbish Reclaimer deck. All my spells are cast from my grave. So it’s 3 mana draw a card whenever you cast a spell.
Neerdiv is super good in the 99 for Oskar Rubbish Reclaimer! I honestly thonk as a commander she's a bit janky (probably a combo deck..) but she is good in the 99 of many graveyard decks

We need a "Richard's Guide to Building Mono White" episode!
35:38 I'm surprised Tomer missed the fact Dionus lets you hold up mana for removal spells thanks to the untap
I think abyssal harvester is fun ... It can do powerful things like instant speed gravehate and reanimate think chainer decks .. It makes tokens of stuff that you can copy with hazel ... And you can put it under soul cauldron or hazels brewmaster ... I am pretty excited for it 😅 mostly for chainer cast it by discarding some valgavoth and with haste from chainer get the valgavoth 😊
27:05 Raise the Past + Cathars' crusade and a bunch of X creatures. return all the hydras etc. and they all grow big on enter, with haste can just win OTK :)
Thanks for the analysis! Just a quick off-topic question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
I hope you will do a commander challenge with the Foundation Starter collection. Only make a commander deck from the Foundation starter collection.
Banner of Kinship is definitely going in my Kumena merfolk deck. It's perfect there because I make tokens and can proliferate. 🎉❤
No Helpful Hunter after all the Spirited Companion glazing?
Dionus, Elvish Archdruid is going in my Parley deck for Selvala heart explorer
I cracked up at Tomer's reaction to Boompile LOL
Abyssal Harvester does say die, so mass mill should also work well with it
Seth and tomer reactions at richard saying boompile 😂 17:05
Seems like the world forgot about Fiendish Duo when Twinflame Tyrant came out
Loot is actually much more like Golos than Azusa. First ability which ramps, second ability which spends mana to look at the top few cards and get one for free. Obviously Loot restricts you to mono green, but that's increasingly not a downside.
Definitely gonna need a podcast where they rank the best cards they will never play
hey why you draw off lunar insight only if you have a token for the the zero mana cost permanent why does the land not count ?
I was blown away to see that Day of Judgment wasn't on Arena yet.
Crim watching High Fae Trickster: THIS FAERIE, IT WAS MADE FOR ME!
i think the crawler concept is a nice one but i agree it should be a bit more powerful.
Less than a minute in, and Tomer has taken one step closer to becoming Crim
5 flesh bags...
Three all that are identical to each other in stats and cost, plaguecrafter which is the strictest upgrade, and the new one from MH3
Did richard miss the possibility of raise the past on Hare Apparent? Got 56 tokens turn 5 with it. Not amazing but solid.
Neerdiv is super good in the 99 for Oskar Rubbish Reclaimer! I honestly thonk as a commander she's a bit janky (probably a combo deck..) but she is good in the 99 of many graveyard decks
When you talked about Dionus and didn't mention Lathril. Bro that card is insane in Lathril !!
Hare apparant and raise the past synergize extremely well
58:25 Seth, have you heard of Borne Upon the Wind? It feels like that’s just a better version for the use case of comboing off. It’s only two many compared to 4 and it cantrips.
Ah, it was mentioned later.
37:30 , you guys forgot about Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin decks
As long as Seth doesn't say "scullpers" on this podcast I'll be happy
