Every artist has experienced that frustrating moment when you need a paint color, and you can’t open the tube cap. While this is really frustrating, there are ways you can get that paint bottle open in no time, and prevent the tube from getting stuck in the first place. Hi Andrea, I love your videos! I'm still painting all the time, but I've decided I'm simply more of a representational painter.
I do have another tip for stuck jars of paint if you don't have the other devices: Gently bang the jar, lid down, on a flat surface, and this often unsticks paint.
Another tip which has nothing to do with this, but when you totally forget your paintbrush and it dries with acrylic paint, soak the bristles in Murphy's Oil Soap overnight. Sometimes it takes several times and a bit of scrubbing with an old toothbrush, but it works! You're welcome.
