Been playing guitar for years and have NEVER mastered the pick! Finger-style and thumb strumming for me!
Started not using a pick after watching your video about it a few years ago! I much prefer not using the pick. One thing though my fingers get caught sometimes and that makes a harsh sound. I marvel at how you are so smooth with just using your fingers. I’ll keep trying because I love the sound I make will I finally get it right!!! Thanks for revisiting this topic! I learn something new every time I watch your videos!!!❤

Never used a pick. I like the sound with the flesh of my finger better and just easier to play that way. It does make you feel one with the guitar ❤

Thank you bro. Matt for this video. I’m 14 and I have had a guitar for about 2 years now. I started learning and I soon gave up on it. That was until I found your channel. You make these lessons super easy and I thank you for putting hope in me to play guitar again. By the way I was wondering if you could do a lesson on a hymn called Jesus Is Coming Soon. Sounds great Matt. I don't know if other people have this problem but I find it very hard to smack the strings. to me It doesn't sound like im smacking them right. Are you smacking all the string? Are you using your whole hand? If other people have a problem with this can you do a video on it. thank you
