Can someone with more knowledge than me explain why there using hammers seem slow and painful would have thought chomping would work better seeing as they have access to both sides
Much bigger project than what you see, but also, add in the potential for liquidated damages if they don't clear off the tracks in time. Big risk for big money. That's just the name of the game for complicated demo jobs.
I could think of two better alternatives: a very large demolition excavator with a concrete shear and a steel shear, or large reinforced concrete saws and a mobile crane that lifts out complete slabs

There about 2 excavators short , did they make it on time for Monday morning, it's one thing to knock it down , but to clean up the mess.
