It is because history made communism lose its appeal. True communism is no longer an ideology to be reckoned with. Most leftists aren't even fundamentally against capitalism anymore despite what the North American right-wing may say.
I think that when u do find the few brave 1es maybe they are tough for a while with speaking the tough subjects like abortion and violent video games with their congregation however they stop cuz they probably feel like line rangers being crucified and villified every step of the way and it literally beats the will power out of the toughest of men
@@carlswindelliv2701 Perhaps, but if so, they are doing it incorrectly. We are to rely on God for our source of strength not our own willpower. Plus, no one today has it as bad as Jeremiah for example. So, if God has called us to speak the truth, we ought to do so and do so until we die. That is the cause of Christ every Christian--let alone Christian leader--is called to do. For my own part, I have little mass influence, but I continue to speak up no matter how unpopular it is or what consequences I face as a result. I just wish more Christian leaders would do the same. There are some of course, but not enough.

If you are watching this program, I'm assuming your a Christian. Pray on it and all will be revealed. Also ask yourself why would the DNC purposefully leave out God from the pledge of allegiance twice. That alone speaks volumes.
It is interesting for us who grew up with Bishop Sheen, somewhat I should say, he was a part of the fabric of Canadian Catholic life in the 1960's. It would be hard to find any priest anywhere today speak with the same fearless authority that he uses to take on Communism. The Catholic Church was not a pushover. The death of Communism and the dying of Catholicism are seemingly parallel historical lines. It is hard to see the return of another such red-robed imperial figure declaiming from on high eternal moral principles in the name of the Holy Mother Church, at least not in the near future. Not where I come from, at least (Quebec).
