They have been doing this for years. In 2001 i had my power shut off and they tried to bill me 40.00 for a whole month i didn't have power. I told them they are not getting any money out of me.
You should have an app from your electric company which indicates how much you used each day and each hour. I check my company app daily to monitor . Fyi I highly recommend my supplier Discount Powe😢
