So I’m new to home brew as of this year, but I used that tree top juice to make an apple wine. I kind of like the cloudy. Does it actually affect the result, or is it just a thing people care about with wine?

Clarity is more of a personal preference thing really. We have some brews that just never clear, and some that you're able to read through it. We don't believe it affects the taste at all, it can just seem more pleasing to drunk something crystal clear 😊
