for a normal person this just means they've read the word and haven't said it in conversation. but someone in academia should have used this word at some point, which makes it way, way funnier
My history with nadir: I read the DFW cruise ship article like a decade ago. (Bonus fact: there’s a video of JP talking about that article on YT). Saw the word. Said it nay-deer. Haven’t needed to use it myself ever. But just a few days ago I was like...do I know if I’m saying that right? What if I need to one day? Looked it up and apparently it’s nay-dur. Now I don’t know what to think. Cus SURELY I looked up the pronunciation a decade ago to come to my original conclusion...
Very educational. I used to do this on audiocassettes so I had a good idea how you did it, but I never worked with video so that part is a nice revelation. Thanks Bart!
Bart, now you just need to YTP yourself so that you can come full circle. It's even better if it's a kind of "behind the scenes" style like this as well. Incredible the amount of work that goes into this stuff.
I was listening to your recent YTP in my car and was pleased to notice that I could clearly hear everything without the subtitles doing the legwork, so your strategy of closing your eyes is paying off :)
My favourite bit about this is you showing the thought process and why you're making certain decisions. Really helps explain the process and help you appreciate the finished product.
just in general i love behind the scenes. it's like the frame of the paiting has meaning to it, and those little strokes and hours of Skyrim to after college.
These behind the scenes are great. One thing I always wonder about is how others keep track and organize so many splices and still be able to optimally recontextualize them. Maybe I missed it. Are some clips highlighted and tagged for greatness with an idea in mind? Or is the end result just the results of pressing random keys on a piano until a beautiful melody is made?
I organize my clips by which ones I think are funniest or most useful. The gold gets moved left and weaker clips stay on the right. It’s a simple system but it works for me.
Hey idk if you’ll see this, but I just wanted to say that your YTPs are better than any I’ve seen on here. Your attention to detail is exquisite; I like how you mentioned how you think of the verbal cadences as musical-that counts for a lot. (Subsequently, I feel like this is what lots of amateur poets get wrong-focusing on content or rhyme schemes but not rhythm.) Most other people’s YTPs are so jerky (not to mention much less clever), and I usually just feel like I’m getting whiplash and end up clicking away. Thanks for treating this stuff with respect and dedication behind the scenes, even though it’s easy to brush this stuff off as “just goofy” or whatever.
I'm fairly new to your channel and now i have even more respect for you after seeing this behind the scenes footage. God bless you for willing to sit through HOURS of this content for our entertainment and to drag these grifters
i have no interest in actually making YTPs ever, but i'm probably *more* interested in the behind the scenes videos of YTPs now. i feel like it's really instructive about how improvisational and flexible you need to be to do this kind of thing well. if you try to railroad a joke that you have in mind from the very start, you might be able to force the sounds you need out of the original clip, but you'll barrel through a serendipitous revelation about something else that might be even funnier (and obviously it won't be as good if it's forced).
Makes it's even more funny how most of this stuff just handed to you. Most ytp's need a lot more intricate sentence mixing, but things like this are just... there to use for the funny
thank you tall bart im gonna learn how to edit tonight hopefully and gonna get poopin ASAP. as an OG enjoyer of poops from the 2012 era, this is exciting.
I had figured out that there had to be a long working process behind being a Jordan Peterson Whisperer that read his mind and cook what he’s saying down to the essence of it all, but it's still pretty wild to see how much work that goes into making such a video! It’s totally amazing and you’re doing such a great job - thank you for this "look behind the scene"….
I get particular enjoyment watching this video because the completed videos, taken alone, don't feel particularly damning to your targets. But demonstrating an ability to do literally anything other than talk about your own insular worldview? Brother, you just owned a full 90% of public intellectuals.
You and RM are the most under-viewed, under-appreciated, and under-paid channels on youtube. Unless and until you can get Skibidi Toilet numbers, the world is broken.
I tried getting him to say “I hate bugs. Ants for sure, but especially those Machiavellian mosquitoes” but I couldn’t mix him to say bugs so I had to cut it
This is a beautiful showcase, and somehow inspiring...But I fear if I dive into the poop-trap I could be swimming in coliform bacteria for months! I think I need my boosters first.
IMPORTANT: if you put "" before the patreon link in your description, it will generate a clickable bubble link !!!! otherwise people need to copy and paste the address into their search bar !!!
Sometimes repeating the same joke in new scenarios is more funny, yes maybe it's easier and not real challenge for you but it's all about how you could land a joke, not just the creative and complex plan behind it.
I like these looks into your methodology. One thing I'll say is I've never seen a full Jordan Peterson lecture so I don't know how often he makes motions that resemble easy weewee jokes, but I appreciate your want to "rise above" that. And I don't think any of what you're saying is too theoretical at all. There's a science to making a great splice work.
Bit of an experimental video. If you guys are interested in more behind the scenes stuff like this I can probably live stream the process some day.
Please :) This is really inspiring and in demystifies the pooping process
Aren’t all poop videos experimenting
it'd be awesome to see more behind the scenes. also could you do a video explaining how you set up that transcript. I love your YTPs!
I enjoy the view behind the curtain. thank you 🐒
This has been really interesting! So much goes into these. Really impressive work!
"I like-a-da feet" landed perfectly, so good

I'm watching a Masterclass right now
I just love the fact that Peepee Jordanson is so enthusiastic about animals. Especially Rats. I mean Rats, YOU HAVE NOT TAUGHT IT FEAR!
I know what you mean 🐀🐀🐀🐀
I mean, he is the man who discovered rats after all
“Nader,” the intelectual’s “Nadir.”
for a normal person this just means they've read the word and haven't said it in conversation. but someone in academia should have used this word at some point, which makes it way, way funnier
ummm do you guys know how that word is actually pronounced? cuz it's not how Very Tall Bart pronounced it
My history with nadir: I read the DFW cruise ship article like a decade ago. (Bonus fact: there’s a video of JP talking about that article on YT). Saw the word. Said it nay-deer. This feels like Victor Frankenstein explaining how he made a man

The fact that you’ve got this down to a science is so interesting to me. It’s strangely satisfying to watch you talk about this lol.
you showed us the process and the finished product still took me out like a sniper
it's like watching michael angelo paint the sistine chapel

I'm still pissing myself at "telling an alcoholic not to drink is a micro agression" . Gold. 😂
My favourite bit about this is you showing the thought process and why you're making certain decisions. Really helps explain the process and help you appreciate the finished product.
This is as entertaining as the finished product. Brilliant work. 👏
Sifting through 2 hours of JBP content just to make fun of him is more heroic than being a 911 operator

The care you're putting into it is why you're the best to ever do it
those are some clean ass twenty seconds, highly appreciated to get to see the creative process like this.
peepee jordanson really has a way with words
Loved seeing the process. I hadn't fully realized how much usable content had to hit the cutting room floor to make your most creative jokes.

I appreciate the editing process because I like seeing the jokes you leave on the cutting room floor.
"Machiavellian, that's a great adjective."
That's what I've been sayingg😂
This is an amazing breakdown. Thanks for this. It's pretty cool man.

As a hobbyist editor, this is fascinating to watch.
I love you. Every video you make, I don't think I'm gonna be interested in it, but you're just a really good narrator so you got me interested in it.
thank you for your service.
you’re braver than the troops
That was amazing! 👁❤🦶🏻🦶🏻
No one's tried shaking things up in years. I love how fresh the whole approach of this channel feels
thank you tall bart im gonna learn how to edit tonight hopefully and gonna get poopin ASAP.
as an OG enjoyer of poops from the 2012 era, this is exciting.
this is gonna be a big movement
I laughed almost as much as with your normal YTP. This was incredible. And thank you for all the time and energy you put into these.
I could watch this for hours, your voice is so relaxing

bro sitting through jordan penisson content is hard work I'm impressed
my man really just reinvented the "dont play the butter notes" but for ytp
you don't want the butter jokes. what a champ.
you’re like aristotle but for ytps, absolute artist
I enjoy you showing the sausage being made.
i like the bit about YTP being rhythmic or musical and i've never heard it described that way but i totally get what you mean
This is great, thank you :) Seeing how much work it is, I'm hella glad you have fun making these ytps

this would probably make a pretty fun livestream
Love to see all hard work behind the seens
it was absolutely worth it oh my god, you truly are a genius
this is awesome. Love the behind the scenes stuff
"I watch women like a dweeb" is the best thing ever
This is so cool thank you Bart
That was educational but also made the end result even funnier.
Love it! More of these is great with me. If it hurts viewership, I'd follow a separate YTP University channel of this kind too.
Very cool bart, very cool.
Love to see the thoughts behind the art :,)

I enjoyed tf out of this! Would love to see more if it's not too much work ^-^
Interesting to see behind the curtain.
BTW, NAY-der (as she said it) is the first pronunciation on Google and the only one I've ever heard or used 😜

It would be funny if PPJ would say something in one video and REALLY EMPHASIZE IT in a future one
what I learned here is that JP and this woman's normal way of speaking is gen alpha slang
That was fantastic!
Thanks man, hope you’re doing ok 👍
Twin Peaks season 4 confirmed
Very excited for the upcoming Italian Jordan Peterson turn
