I deal with depression as well, it comes in waves with me, and I've been dealing with it since 1994, its not fun, so I know how important it is to rest. Welcome Back :) I did miss you and feared you had moved on to other hobbies and activities :) While you were gone I went back to a few of your older stitch with me's - mostly because the sound you get in your videos of the needle and thread pulling through the fabric is so soothing! I'm glad you are feeling better (been there and know what it can be like!) and look forward to seeing your WIP parade, or new WIPs, or whatever you decide to share there is no pressure! Take care and be kind to yourself xx

I use a lot of thread holders. I cut thread in pieces (1 piece about 23.5 inches long). And then do a little bit math, to see how many pieces of thread every color needs. And then put them to the thread holders, just like a kit. For example: I can stitch about 400 stitches with 1 piece of thread. If DMC 832 has 2600 stitches in this project. Then: 2600 ÷ 400 = 6.5. And I will put 7 pieces of DMC 832 to the thread holders.

How do you organize your floss for a Max Color project? I’ve got one I am afraid to start because of 240 colors and how do I organize them?
I use a lot of thread holders. I cut thread in pieces (1 piece about 23.5 inches long). And then do a little bit math, to see how many pieces of thread every color needs. And then put them to the thread holders, just like a kit.
For example: I can stitch about 400 stitches with 1 piece of thread. If DMC 832 has 2600 stitches in this project. Then: 2600 ÷ 400 = 6.5. And I will put 7 pieces of DMC 832 to the thread holders.
