I was so broke when I was in Annandale that I literally ate rice and beans for lunch and dinner almost every day for a year. My financial situation was crushing, and the city isolating and depressing. I did eat at a Korean buffet that was kind of hidden from the road once while living there, which was nice. I would eventually go homeless for 2 1/2 years.
@@abigail7579 It's all a very long story. Basically, I went broke over the course of many years, was depressed, hated having roommates, and moved into my car. In those 2 1/2 years I built up my discipline and daily habits to the point where, when a good job was available, I was ready to take it.
There are worse places in NOVA, believe me. It's not terrible here; while there are plenty of venues and many hidden gems culinary wise, I do hate how this place has transformed into a mudtown more or less. The volume of illegals and migrants out here on virtually every street corner looking for work is eye watering.
@@ingothitrust5248 those spanish immigrants work rlly hard tho i respect them. if youre ever moving and you need to move furniture just pull up to any 711 in annandale and tell the spanish dudes that u have a job for them and theyll gladly help u out and they do a good job too
