Good job on the TF2 community killing itself, way to go, coming from a veteran.
Tf2 is still alive cos the community is still strong. Despite those cancerous bots appearing everywhere many people such as myself still play the game because it is very unique compared to the rest of the other games. Although most of the things you said are actually true and still are (kinda) I completely disagree with the community killing itself, actually there are been many people still holding on to it.

TF2's community is actually going well at the moment, specially in casual. I was in a game where a player suggested that we all go engineer. 10 player out of 12 did, and we built a huge sentry nest in the intelligence room on the 2fort map. We had a sniper and a spy on our team, but we couldn't care less. It's casual, They can do what they want.

Played League Of Legends , was best player of a team but not for good reasons , i played mid and i honestly had toxic team and it wasn't fun .
Yes getting kills was fun and some aspects but toxicity made my best attempts irrelevant , and i am no beast who can just clutch this type of match in which most if not all of my teammates are toxic .

When I started playing Black Ops II, I muted my sound and got banned.
The day the series implemented "mute all" was a great day. I always muted them individually before that so mute all saved alot of gametime. Nobody wants to here that shit.

I stopped playing when i started yelling at some poor kid, got up, walked to a mirror and asked myself what the fuck i was doing with my life that i would be yelling at a kid for feeding the dires carry 5 fucking times in a row for no god damn good reason, when he was told 50 fucking times their jungle is warded.
It's not the players who refuse to work with others, those players can be funny, it's not the try hards who take it a bit too seriously, nor the ones who just really sucks. it's the shitty rng/proc system. when things proc, they proc hard, when they don't they leave you vulnerable. you need to play the game depending on your procs to trigger, and when they don't it's frustrating, you have 5 players doing this stuff, if all your shit triggers and some of their doesn't, it's also frustrating. you can have the best strategy in the world, if you don't hit that proc you're finished.
Moba games are literally the dumbest games out there, they make people rich, but they're god awful. Most people have a 50% win rate....

I was a kid who played Mature rated games, and I never went on the mic yelling at people just for beating my ass in a game. The problem is that they're poor sports, and the parents rather have a machine baby sit their kids then get off their lazy ass and teach their children good sportsmanship and how to at least try to get along with other people.
I always found it funny when CoD players would come into the games i play and try the same nonsense and just get told to shut up by the entire server. Either they left, or they changed to become better people.

I set my steam location to Canada, then I start to play L4D2 there for one week. They were so kind, in Versus mode, people were congratulates each other, helping themselves out and making friendly talk, they were super cool. I thought Canadian politeness were so over rated, just because of Usa people's rudeness stereotype, but they were indeed super polite.

Other than that everyone is cool with each other and everyone is pretty nice asides from no one playing a healer, forcing me to play Ana.

dude, I just quited dota for good today just because there's a new trend on toxic behavior: massive reports by players on party. You can get 4 reports per game just because some guys don't like you. And I thougth I was being paranoid until I found out this issue has been around in the community since october 2019. I'm looking to chill, not to deal with arseholes.

I absolutely loved Mass Effect 3. The multiplayer was a lot of fun too. The funny thing was that at the time I hadn't been following the reception online and had no idea so many people hated it.. Avoiding the internet for the win! Haha

Ban for intentionally feeding and going in the wrong lane but not verbal communication. just no censorship, and mute buttons should be used

One community I never like was GTA Online. It's one game where a lot of the time you will become an unprovoked victim of something. Even if you are a brand new player. One of the reasons I quit the game.
Honestly the whole gta community is kinda toxic they are quick to label any open world game as a gta ripoff and are like GtA is ThE BeSt. Just say gta 5 is bad see how extremely salty and toxic they become

There are good people in the overall GTA Community which is nice, but GTA Online, unless you have friends, you won't last. But I have met some awesome people in the game, a couple of them are still good friends of mine today years later.
As for "GTA Ripoffs", those punks who say that stuff are just lame. A lot of genuine GTA fans love other games that do similar. I love GTA, and I love Saints Row, even the SR games that killed its identity. Gat out of Hell is pretty ick though but still fun.

MMO/RPG gaming commentlines are generally among the top of toxic stuff... I would totally turn all commentlines completly off if i should play games like WoW or something today, it's nothing about tactics anymore today, only toxicity, highly imature blamings and missusing of bans, that's a main reason for why i quitted permanently many years ago it only gives the impresion of a group of 5 years old.

Vanilla WoW was actually pretty good. But Blizzards drive to make the game more inclusive (ie get everyone into raids), led to casual raid groups, which just created toxicity.
Guilds were the thing that made the game good, and they essentially became unnecessary with what Blizzard did. The only real problem was getting into a guild - that part could be toxic.

As a LoL player it's ok I understand your experience. Not all new players are going to keep up bc of the game flow, new players become frustrated with the game. I had the same experience too but since I have an experienced friend, I was able to catch up. I don't mind new players insulting the game, the game can be upsetting too. :)

Just a point with the Mass Effect three ending - having essentially a red green blue filter over it based on your choice, which none of the gameplay leading up to it affects is annoying. Would have been better if one or two options were blocked based on your Paragon and Renegade scores. The multiplayer was fun but the lootboxes were definitely predatory. I spent more on them than I did on the game itself, and I got a limited edition version on release day.
I didn't know there were so many children playing halo. I completely agree with the community constantly complaining about the quality the games though.

Ya the problem is a lot of the fans don't even know what they want ("Sprint vs No sprint" or "Fast gameplay vs slow gameplay" for example). It's like debating democrat or republican level of bad.
Not many people talk IN GENERAL. So much of a stigma is placed on console players, that nobody uses their mics anymore. For Halo, though, I left because of the Bungie Elitists that insult the general populous for not caring (i.e: BDobbins, Favyn, DandyDNA, etc)

World of tanks was pretty bad up until last year I had voice and text chat muted for about 2 years straight at one point, and use a mini-map ping spam blocker, probably the only reason I can still play it. I'm leaning more toward coop games these days.
