Since this is me(my name is Cord not Tord lol.) I’ll explain it, since in the comments there is some hate.
I was deep in my addiction October - Mid December. All the money I made went towards my addiction. I checked myself into rehab. I ultimately lost my job for this.
I Was still able to collect unemployment fortunately. But because I was a truck driver and worked in so many different states, the process was slower for me to get unemployment. At the time of this call I was only back to work for about 3 weeks In which I was behind on child support payments and some other payments.
Paying my Car was next, but it was repossessed before I could catch up the payments. So my question was would it be better to just let them sell it or get it back. I wasn’t sure what the best credit route would be.
I’m happy to report, I made a deal with the financing company. Have my car back on the condition I pay $10,000 in the next 5months title in hand (I owe 21k on the loan, they are giving it to me for 13k I just have to make $2000 payments the next 5 months) I followed their advice got the car back and now working on snowballing it.

I think the best next move would be to pull a free credit report to see exactly what is owed on what, and in particular, what is in collections.

So.. what's wrong with this story? Great that he's been sober/drug free for 2 months. He also says he drives a truck, also stated he lives in his truck so doesn't have any expenses. But then he also talks about some "back" unemployment. And then Rachel tells him to work extra 😂😂😂. Anyone who knows anything about trucking, particularly an OTR trucker, like Tord? Would KNOW that's not a possibility. Drivers can and do typically work 70 hours in 8 days, and up to 14 hours per day.
The other question I have.. so WTH is Tord even doing IN A TRUCK? You don't start out making $1250 a week so chances are, he's experienced and was doing drugs while operating a commercial vehicle. Let that sink in. Also, if he failed a DOT drug test, he would be on a certain list the government maintains which PROHIBITS trucking companies from hiring these people until they've completed a SAP (Substance Abuse Program). After a driver has been listed in the drug clearinghouse, it's damn near impossible for a company (that's not some fly by night illegally run junk) carrier, because no insurance company would insure him or IF they were actually willing to, it would be prohibitively expensive. I have way too many questions on this story.

financial advisors could make a lot of difference, particularly in a market such as this. Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of investors raking in 6 to 7 digits in a space of months. So, I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look. I have been using an FA since 2020, and the least I returned was $180k ROI, and this does not include capital gain.

He commented his name is Cord, the producers got it wrong. I'd for sure be too embarassed to correct the hosts if I called in.

Someone who is of Nordic origin would. It's an old name, is not uncommon in that part of the world, and is very interesting. I believe it means "thunder". I suppose you think that Dianne is very interesting, right? Tord is better than Bob, that's for sure.
