I was super excited when you said you said your favorite alum was staring at you in the face and pointed at the camera. I was like "She knows I'm a /future/ alum!" But no Dean Z is too iconic for me and stans herself. Me too.

Preach. You have effected a greater understanding of the usage of "impact" among your viewers. My affect is greatly affected, and you will have effected many smiles today, to great effect.

I love her grammar tips at the end of each video. Forget about the whole law school admissions stuff; she's such a likeable person.

I love that you included your thoughts on impact vs. effect/affect! This was a hot topic in undergrad. :)

A friend told me about this series, and I watched almost all the episodes in one sitting. ha. A small add-on question, I will have taken the LSAT 5 times in total over the course of a year and a half and 3 formats of tests (from in person paper, in person digital, and at home flex). Should I write an addendum explaining why I took it several times (basically that the format kept changing and making me anxious, and I knew I could do better because my scores were trending positive)?

That would be very useful-I would definitely be curious about what was the motivation behind that many tests.

Thank you for another great video, Dean Z! I have a follow-on question today. Would you recommend writing an addendum for a 10+ score increase on the LSAT? Even if I had no good explanation other than taking a different approach to studying after the first one, would you still want to see an addendum? Thank you!

This is a terrific Q. in general, I think it is worth talking about any score increase of about 6 points or more-and having a different study approach is absolutely a helpful bit of info for us to have! Remember, you only need a few sentences at most for an addendum, so a simple explanation like this is actually ideal from the POV of being effective.

My friend is a 139 LSAT and 2.7 GPA and applied to Michigan Law. Everyone laughed at her and told her she would never get accepted. Turns out, they were correct. Michigan Law emphatically denied her.
