Hi Guy and Gals
Welcome to the channel,My name is Loren, My house on wheels is a 2006 Ford cutaway chassy Ex Ambulance with a 6.0 diesel. that I converted to a tiny home on wheels,Did a 4X4 conversion, But best of all I converted it to run on waste vegetable oil! Now the biggest question I get asked is what is my background? As you can hear I have a thick Hungarian accent! Probably because that is where I was born and raised! Most of you guys know, What to expect from my channel, a mix of videos like Van Life, camping outdoors activities and lots of wrenching, along with some offroad and Overland adventures. The project that im most exited is Building out the Dodge Dakota and hoping by this fall to be able to continue transformation, just waiting on parts, I’m sure some of you know how that goes, the waiting time its just incredible..

The mountains and waterfalls are so majestically breathtaking, I can only imagine how it must feel to be surrounded by all that beauty. I used to live in Colorado and the mountains are gorgeous, but Alberta, OMG, I must come visit.

I always love to see familiar places through someone else’s eyes. Banff is indeed such an incredible place. The gophers were hilarious and so loud- the dogs were searching for them 😊 Nice to see Leah again and all that food looks so amazing! Beautiful scenery! That hotel reminds me a bit like the German castle. Yes, bring the bikes next time! I feel for anyone having to do a number two in one room. If you have a primitive campground with no bathrooms close by, you can quick rig a curtain or shower tent behind the ambo, away from public view, for bathroom and shower use. Glad Leah is feeling so much better!

You are right regarding van life, part or full-time, including just short excursions with a partner for a lot of other reasons too, even in my car I accept only people who are on the same page with me. Things like opening the window, shutting the window, opening the AC, shutting the AC....etc are not possible in my rig, I do what and when I feel like it, especially on a vacation or holiday.
I agree with you. If you're not on the same page with your passengers, solo travel is much easier.

Loren is right about no overnight parking in Banff national Park. He advised booking a campground spot I live in nearby Calgary and camp often at Lake Louise and Banff. I booked my spots on January 26 when the reservation system opened. Visitors be advised that you might get lucky and be able to snag a cancellation, but otherwise these spots are booked well in advance. In a pinch, you can drive up Highway 93 towards Jasper to the Columbia ice fields. After 6 PM, they let you stay overnight in the parking lot for a small fee.

I just picked up a 26 ft Nash trailer for next years adventures on the road. More room to stretch out. This year it’s still the truck camper and the closet portapotty. 😂 Safe travels you two. 🌲🤙

Nice time to go to the Rockies. Snow still on the peaks. In mid summer it is still pretty, but very busy with tourists and the snow on the mountains melted. I think you choose the right time. Beautiful.

You are only 273 miles from Androssen, Alberta CA. There is another Canadian I watch also and his name is Scott Newstead. His channel is Coldwarmotors. He works on old cars and saves them from the crusher. You have a lot in common with him because you both are mechanics. You sure are in beautiful country up there. Thank you for walking all that way to the bridge just to give us a view. Thank goodness you didn't park on the road. Leah would have a heart attack if you got a big fine. Lol

Ive been tere but not down the mountains i didnt know u could go down there. Tey have mynfav breafast there or used to. Ots been yrs since i was there. Drove it from ontario when my kids dad was alive n my daughter was just a baby. Was hid deeam. So i jumoed in a wagon kinda car packed everything we needed n left. Ill be back with my kids now in their 20s lol

My van is definitely toooo small for two. I need my own space to use the toilet/commode or whatever you want to call it. 😂 I do need my own space though, it would have to be a two bathroom motor home lol Been enjoying your videos. Banff/Jasper is amazing. Canmore is amazing, just so expensive cause like here in Victoria, it is a tourist town.

There is nothing to be ashamed of, It’s something to think about starting a travel or a vanlife for couples. If they don’t have a dedicated bathroom 😏✌️
@@lolesoffroad have you thought about the F350 Van/Buss? Remove some of the glass put in sheet metal. I actually thought about that myself if I didn't do 3500 Ext Dodge Promaster if you do the F350 deal church buss thing, build it like you would a Van you'll be surprised how much room you'll have. If you have Instagram I can tell ya how I want my Van if I ever get disability lol. I just don't want to say it here cause I've not seen anything how I want it yet 😂. I been watching videos for 33 months now. I'll tell ya on Instagram once you decide on which way you decide to go.

@@lolesoffroad The trick is to get in the water quickly, completely submerge; then when you get out, dry off completely. You will be very warm after drying. 😊
