If you’re running a race head why wouldn’t you do some internal motor stuff like port the head? Maybe have a balanced crank or coat the internals! Really make it kick ass
I know this was 2 years ago, but did you wind up ordering an OEM reed boot or some sort of aftermarket one? I’m in the process of saving a 2003 250 right now and everyone’s showing out of stock on the original piece. Probably discontinued.
Cant sand blast these parts because they are aluminum and it would tear them up. What I did with my bike was glass bead blasted the cases and the cylinder then cerakoted them. But for vapor blasting I’m not sure

I like the socket trick on the crank bearings. Did you freeze the crank or install room temp?
