The works edition is way to go, the stainless one gives more bottom end, we got two 125’s one has works pipe an other has stainless an it’s a big difference
I can't believe that you found a RAW finished pipe for your build. Your 2019 CR was the first time that I've seen vapor blastIng. I love the look. Trying to find a someone who is qualified to do this to my Bike
I rode a KX100 a few years ago, I couldn't believe how quick it was compared to a KX125 of the same year. I'm not saying that it was quicker by any means, but if you had a rider that was suited to the smaller sized KX. It would be interesting what the difference would be 4 sure ! That would be a great video idea !
That is fully sic !!! The only better looking 2 stroke pipe is one of those old cone sectioned welded works pipes. What is the benefit using water whilst blasting ? My Dad owns a car engine performance shop but his bead blaster is dry. I just subbed because l can't wait to see this KX250 finished ! It makes me sad to see that Yamaha are the only Japanese manufacturer to still be making these bikes (full size).
You should be fine the only way you could burn through the pipe is if you sit there and heat it up for a while until it’s bright orange. Even then I don’t think the torch could get the metal hot enough unless you purposely try to burn through. Also if you heat up the pipe let it cool naturally because if you spray it with water right away it could weaken the welds and crack.
I'm getting a 1991 rm 125 restored and rebuilt and Pro Circuit didn't have one either for that bike. My guys had to find one from Australia!
I can't wait to see that build completion video!
Brazing rod.is the gold color you see.its brass melts at lower heat than steel wire.less warping on thin metal
You know what's up !

Looks good man 🔥🔥
So sick and love the music lol
Finally a 250 video
Pipe looks sick!
I love this !!
That pipe looks mint🔥
Those are braze welds it’s a composite that will break first before the actual pipe does. But they’re not gold.

Those “gold welds” are silicon bronze it’s more of a sauntering that you use a tig welder
You know what's up... The lower heat doesn't distort the metal as much..
Cool look
Is it possible to do the whole thing blue?
Great job on dirt bike
Hey Tyler make sure to put a polish on it so it doesn’t rust out
@reality clear coat spray paint also works. I’ve used it in a build

Sick
Wish Pro Circuit would make some more works pipes for the 99-02 125s
I heard that they don't make them anymore which is a shame....
I had a Crome one that was looking pretty bad so I sanded it back to a raw finish and heated the welds
Should I get a Kx,Rm,Cr,Rm 250 2 stroke which one should I get and do
You should get a cr250 2 stroke
I like it👍!🇨🇦🇺🇸
Great motorcycle
When will the next kx 250 build video be up?
I doubt he'll do another kx 250, probably go onto Suzuki, yamaha or honda 250s next
Would have gone for the super polished look.
Could you do a yz 125 build somtime
You should do a Yamaha next
When torching. No way to melt the welds or burn through the pipe ??? Just wanting info. Thanks.

Is a 125 good for me if I’m 5’7
Yes... If you can ride well enough..
What year model is the kx 125
The gold is braised I’d assume
I got a vapor honing add lol
Why do you need a new top end on the 125
