I had a question, I want to apply for a masters programme in physics after I complete my bachelors in physics , so do you have to do both the GRE general and subject(physics) test or if you do the GRE general test that is sufficient for good universities abroad? since their is a lot of things to work on like research papers, normal college work, it could get a bit overwhelming and it looks like I am quite late to this things

If it's "not mandatory" he still recommends giving the GRE as it increases the chances of being accepted.. I'd say take the GRE just to be on the safer side
Edit: it's also impossible to predict what might happen in the future regarding the COVID situation

Hi bro...I completed my bachelor's in July 2021. Now trying for masters in the USA. My professor is not working in my college anymore, what should I do in that case. Do I have to take from a professor from my college only or from the professor who worked in my college but now works for some other college? Pls pls, reply and advice.
I think it should be okay for you to get an LOR from a professor who isn’t working in the college anymore (as long as he has taken a class for you at some point) .If you can,try to get an LOR from a professor who is currently working in the college and has taken atleast one class for you. Also, if you’re working you can get an LOR from your manager, team lead or boss. That’ll work too.

Hard to predict, but it's less likely to be waived for Fall 23 I think. Unless Covid is still a big thing around October.
may be colleges should waive off gre in 2023 as well because there is a large number of cases people doing cheating and getting 320+ in gre. There are many institutions helping students to bring gre scores by helping them while exams. In newspapers also these cases have been revealed.

For LoR it's going to be submitted online why I should get it 2 months earlier?
The idea is to give your profs a notice well in advance before you need to submit the letter. They're usually super busy and will take a lot of time.

You can start as soon as the portal opens, which is usually around mid-October. Yes, you can submit 6 semesters worth of transcripts.

Hi Rajiv, I think you need to go for the term you feel comfortable with. Also, look at the differences between spring/fall terms while at it. It comes down to how quickly you want to start your masters, which is all it matters. Yes, there will be pros/cons of spring/fall intake, but go with how you feel. Hope it helped. Cheers!

Why did you choose spring intake over fall
I was accepted for Fall but deferred for 3 semesters, so I started in Spring.
Hey I wanted to know whether GRE is waived off for fall 2023 in the US or not? I took the GRE test on 14th June but scored less than 300 and also one of my friend who is going this year sent his GRE scores even when they were waived off but universities didn't even took a look on it. So is GRE waived for fall 2023 if yes then I don't think I would go for another attempt but if it isn't I would prefer going for one in next month. Please let me know.

@@animeshbhawtankar3045 I personally reached out to those universities through mail and asked about the waive confirmation. And most of the universities (their admission counselors) have confirmed it's waived off, and hence I chose to not go for another attempt.

Germany has same end date ?
German deadlines vary. Some go as late as March 2023 for Fall 23 intake. I believe it's because of the low admissions traffic and the October start of semester, instead of September like the US.

What do you mean by that? Can you please explain?
Right after you take the exam, you can send your scores immediately to 4 universities for free. After that, you gotta pay for each university you send your scores to.

That's correct. I usually recommend students pick the universities they're most likely to apply to. I'm sure you'll have a couple of universities in mind right now right? I would select those. It's extremely rare for someone to apply to all the unis they send their score to. Sometimes, you just change your mind.
