Great video! I have an 03 wing that I inherited. I ahve been getting more comfortable with the routine wrenching on it. Video's like this are a HUGE help! I laughed at you calling out the trolls about not giving torque specs, I get it I had to go out and buy a manual (previous owner didn't feel he needed it.... oh the things I am finding).
we were informed by Honda instructor that the wheel will slide in and out without removing L/S linked caliper, R/S must be removed off disc, as you pull wheel forward rotate small amount and don't bang rim unto caliper, put a piece of tape on caliper if your clumsy, I'm really surprised by the amount of people that remove the L/S, since this information has been out there for a decade now, worked in dealerships for 45 years so give it a try, also sight into caliper and ensure disc centered in caliper carrier
I have watched another video where the person puts the wheel back into place and than pushes into the centre after marking before removal, then pulls out away from centre and then returns halfway. Anything wrong with that method in your experience? Thanks.
Not sure what the question is? The Goldwing comes apart and goes back together like pretty much every Honda with linked brakes. There is no special way to do it.

What do you mean destroy wheel to put other stem in I just had a flat with the old original valve stem and I want to get the new aluminum 90°. I don’t want to destroy the wheel. What else can you use?
Look at your valve stem. On the wheel there is a piece of aluminum which sticks up which holds the Honda valve stem in place. that piece of aluminum needs to be removed so you can put in a normal 90° motorcycle valve stem. I usually take a pair of wire cutters and snip it off and then file it down. You will never be able to use another Honda valve stem after you do this.

For other viewers the torque specs are for the axle : 59 NM for the brakes is both 31 NM
