I got one and sat it on top of a speaker… and it literally died… I’ve done that with other laptops and never an issue. It’s weird. It’s heavy… and I’m stuck with it 😅

So I got one of these coming in the mail I’m seeing comments saying don’t get 4050 but I already bought cause it was 533$ I thought was dirt cheap for a 40 series wondering is it worth it or should I resell shoot my shot for a 4060-4090

I have a Nitro 17, but the "W" key feels different when pressed. Apparently it doesn't have the same movement as the other keys.
This is normal, does it come from the factory for some purpose? Or do I have to make a claim to my provider?

My fan is making a grinding sound
I dont see the power plug in any of the vanity shots, ive heard that it is weird and very stiff. I don't see it in the review or commented upon after scrubbing through very quickly... you're not the only influencer that has completely omitted the power plug, did Acer ban you guys from talking about it???
Just got mine on a black friday sale, 4060. Love everything about it but the sound. In games, u wont notice, but streaming Netflix, its sounds worse than my cell phone. But for the price, its frighin perfect.

@@cappythecapboy u knucklehead, thats not a real question. Depends on the game, what settings u play on, etc. Go watch reviews based on the GPU in the laptop u want. Thats the most accurate way to know.
Hello bro can you help me with 1 question? Do you still use this laptop? In sleep mode, my Acer nitro 17 rtx 4050 version laptop spins the fans every 10-15 seconds. This is normal? They turn on for a second and turn off. Without charging this happens less often. What can i do to solve this problem?
@@feddy7875 go into the Nitro settings and change the fan settings to do what you want them to do. It sounds like theres a very extreme profile in there where if it goes up for 5 degrees the fans with go straight to 100% and then it cools down right away, so they shut back down (sounds very annoying). Lots of youtubes on how to dial in your fan speeds.
@@srobeck77 But this is happening while sleep mode. Is it normal? I knew that in sleep mode the laptop should not make any noice. But here's the thing.

With 32gb ram and 1.5 TB storage. It’s honestly very meh.
It’s decently built heavy piece of plastic.
Ports are great.
I don’t have the wqhd screen just FHD
I placed it on top of my speaker during an update since my eithernet wire was next to my speaker and it died like an hdd. It was very odd. Other than that the speakers are actually pretty nice. Performance is decent it’s stupidly loud on full usage.
@@aquetzalisansabas6002 as far as recommendations, in this economy. Simple answer is yes. Just keep in mind that it’s heavy and try to get the 4060 or 4070. Not 4050
couple questions. Since it's all made of plastic. does the keyboard bend alot of its sturdy ? also about the fans, are they very loud while playing games? Thanks in advance
@@chrisbaki7371 fans can be loud, plays well. It’s modestly sturdy. Get the 4060 or 70 (preferably) with higher end AMD. Upgrade ram to 32gb and your set. Golden.

Hi, I have Nitro 17(i7 13700HX, rtx 4060) and gpu doesn't reach max tgp(115W + 25W boost mode). II am playing F1 22 and God of War on ultra high settings and results are:
F1 22 -> 60 -70W
God of War -> 75-80W
I don't want to use turbo boost, but I wish it would work at a higher level, at about 100W.
Can it be fixed?

Try updating all your drivers!
@@ExpertZone The drivers are updated. On the God of War the power reaches 80-90W(I make mistake in the first comment).

@@juandevicente4746 Hi, I think the reason why the card does not reach maximum power is the usege of the video memory. I set maximum settings, I think the game was resident evil 4, the video memory was almost full and power reaches at about 105 - 110 watts.
