@@renegomis321 The King's wife is called The Queen Consort. The person who is Queen by birth right is Queen. Her husband Will not be King "just" Prince.
@@barpal7804 That is unfortunate. The whole point of marrying a princess is to become King yourself. Why must they neglect him of that status? I for one will still refer to him as King
@@renegomis321 if it makes you feel any better Queen Consort is really just a Princess. They do this ín case the the reigning Monarch dies without an heir. The next Monarch has to come from the same lineage. They can't just overthrow a "King".

Hi from a swede. Prince Daniel will only be a prince, not King. Since he is not born in the royal line, he just becomes a prince.
But how come the Kings wife is referred to as Queen, even though she is not born in the royal line? Wouldn't she be called Princess then?
