G’day Ryan. I’ve just stumbled across the channel and absolutely love it. I worked in a sand mine over here in Australia until we ran out of sand! It’s interesting to see how things are done over there. Keep on going, mate! 👍

rock scrubber (log wash) followed by a trommel because they handle clay better

im wondering if a super trammel , made from a used extra large industrial propane tank with replaceable bucket teeth too form the mixing plates on the in side (make maintenance simpler then re-welding as they ware )the rock would get tossed about busting up the clay balls while the water jet bars wash away the minus fraction of clay and small stone through the screen section set closes to the exit then the entrance , for a longer mix wash cycle time
. if not sufficient the first go through , stock pile and then rinse repeat till desired out come . avoid the cost of expensive chemicals and their environmental issues , water cleans it self over time settled , chemicals last for ever , it could be set up as part of your sand wash plant, basically , go through the trammel straight from the shaker screen , washed stone minus the clay inclusion exit too a convener radial stacker stock pile , whats left of the minus fraction could then get used as well ,as it would contain a good quantity of small cracked chips of stone \clay ,say for ramp slopes too add traction

I work in the kaolin industry full time we use blungers and dispersant chemical to break that clay down.
I believe a log wash would work best for you but you may have to add a chemical to your water to separate it out.
Screen and size that rock we need a good supplier of rounds over here in putnam co ga

out here they use hot water pressure washers with those rotating heads on the screendeck to seperate fine rock from clay and clay from sand
not sure it it would work for those bigger rocks
