    HI! My name is Mallorie and I am have been a teacher for 12 years and am a mom to a wonderful 7 year old son who loves to learn, read, and create things. He also happens to have ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorder, borderline Autism, is medically complex, and has anxiety. We have been through a lot together through his entire life, starting with a NICU stay and surgeries throughout his life. We have had tough times before and during the diagnosis of each disorder. It has been a lot of time researching, experimenting, attending therapies, IEP meetings, and meeting with doctors. I am very passionate about educating parents and teachers about different disorders and learning disabilities. It is important to me to show people that these children are not just about focus and not being able to sit still! If we understand them and how their brain works, we can become their advocate and best ally in making their lives better and to help them reach their fullest potential. Join us on our channel for this and much more!!
    Please note: I am not a licensed professional in this area, but I have done tons of research to ensure I'm giving my son the best care possible and so I can understand what he is going through all of these suggestions are from my perspective and experiences.

    I know a child who is very bright and intelligent, have met all milestones since infancy. What is the treatment for sensory seekers, do they overcome with age?

      Haven't watched the video yet. You get used to your senses, but you will always have f.e. hyper or hypo sensitive skin ect. That won't change. As an adult looking back at my childhood my biggest problem was grown ups not understanding and so not knowing how to parent/teach properly. Most "grow into it". F.e. if your hearing is super sensitive, you can probably develop perfect pitch and be really good with music, sound design ect. But you need someone to teach you. Or an adult who understands, can swallow their own ego down enough to understand they can't teach you and then finding you someone who can. Most people with SPD live completly normal lifes.

    Is it possible to have spd with delayed speech and not necessarily asd

    • @shazebabrar197
      @shazebabrar197 Рік тому

      @fatimamustaphamala6034 why dr oyalo herbs not so recommended by experts. And why not most people using it considering such problems are getting very common

      Yes it’s possible. My younger brother was speech delayed but doesn’t have autism. My son has autism tho.
