I do love his rotating exhaust, making sure top spread the mess evenly across the right side of the plane. 😁 And don't worry about the idle, Tim don't know how to use it anyway. 😂
Now that was absolutely fantastic!!!!!! I thought the wings were going to get ripped off of that plane for roughly 7/8s of that video!! Brilliant flying! Nothing like the nitro mills
Great flying! And super plane. Thanks for the smiles. I'm in the UK and find it difficult to stay positive some of the time, and you guys always help put a smile on my face. So thank you Bruce and buddies. ☺
Tim's mantra, always fit model with an engine that is far too big, always use full throttle and never throttle back once throttle is open, except to land, always use full elevator to test wings and try to fold them, if model didn't crash first time then refuel and try repeat until you succeed. If all else fails, try a full throttle dive then use full up elevator, full rudder and full aileron that should shake up the model and test it's structural integrity.
OMG, there must be a broom handle sized CF spar running the width of the wing. How else did they not fold when Tim "changed direction"?? And the tail feathers must be made from CF, cause they should have fallen off in some of those elevator movement changes.
That puppy has a great spar in the wing, and a better than average servo for the elevator. Didn’t dare blink, as I expected to see a splat on a number of occasions. The camera work was exceptional to chase the wild flying, the vertical pulls were radical, with no advance warning. Good on ya Mate!
Love it . That plane was built with some structural integrity, he must have bought a bag of it before flying! 🤣 You did very well to follow such random High speed and high G manoeuvres.
Hi Bruce, Ron, Bill, full throttle Tim and I think John ? At first I thought I was looking at a Headmaster. My first rc airplane, But no. Finally Tim lean it out. And back to full throttle all the time. Thanks again for the video .
Amazing stuffed tim talk about fly the wings of something , that is one of the things I miss the most about NZ is gizzys little rc club, have been stuck over the dich now for over 2 year's. Thanks for the video's
Those trainers must be made of some tough stuff. How the heck did he manage to keep it aeroplane shaped. I bet his Tx has cracks around the gimbals too. Particularly the throttle stick. 😂
Throttle switch. I have to remember that one. I know a couple of people who fly electric fat wing trainers WFO and say that they need to upgrade their batteries because they only last a few minutes.
I still am stunned that 1st. the wing didn't "FOLD" & 2nd... that it didn't "Abandon" the fuselage. I also asked,. am I safe sitting here in the USA. (probably not) almost dialed 911,,....11111 my heart was racing. not sure how it made it... and not returned to kit form. Action packed with no damages or injuries.. (win, win)and Wow.
Darn, went out this morning and the cupboard was bare! Not a sole in sight...lol, got home and my foamier fuse had warped again with the hot days we have had!...I need to get the Bixler 3 going....Laurie (Sunday).
That takes one back to the days when men were men, the output of model engines weren’t yet measured in terms of mousepower, and the fuel had nothing whatever to do with particle physics.
It is so nice to hear a Nitro Engine and i think the smell of it in a hot summer is better than sex, just waiting for the winter here in Norway to disappear. See nothing from the Ringebu gang, they used to fly in the winter...
Yeah, they've been very intermittent for quite a while now. I miss the old days from them (and Spocktra50). Looks as if we're the only group out of the originals that are still going strong.
@@xjet 71 now and the young joining us is disappearing to flyingschools - as me i returned to models after retiring from the real stuff... Keep the good stuff coming Bruce
Tim's throttle setting is either ON or OFF, there's nothing in between! The same goes for his rudder, elevators and ailerons! PS Won't someone answer that bl**dy phone!
Nitro Tim on the sticks does not fail the watchers. The spar must be made of very very strong stuff. Put a g meter in the plane, iam guessing that the meter will not go high enough to record the number. 🙃🙂🤭🥴😵😵💫
I was given one of these as an electric conversion. Looking at the weight of the motor on that thing, no wonder why mine doesn't fly right. I'm guessing my CG is way off, even though its on the marks. I'd say the marks are off. I need to mount the motor further out and add more nose weight.
Tim does ascending spins. Lol!!! Anyway, where do you guys buy your nitromethane? I require 4 to 10 litres and my last supplier has retired from the business.
We stockpiled some before the electric boom took over. Down to my last 8 litres already :-( Oil is the bigger problem. Can't get the high-quality european (Fuchs Aerosynth) oil any more and the US ones (Morgans/Klotz) are really crappy by comparison.

Glad to see the test pilot back in action!!
Good to see Tim back flying at his normal pace , flat out and great flying to boot :-)
Used to spectate nitro planes some 45 yrs. ago. Nothing like it.
Reckon he was a blow fly in a previous life. Insane flying style.
Yay,,,, great to see Tim back. Crazy flying.... This video lifted my spirits. Cheers. Bruce.

Hard to believe Tim didn't snap the wing on some of those stunts.....Good video!

2:41 That's a nice new feature Tim added there LOL!
Awesome to see Tim back in the air again!
The illusive spinning tuned pipe.
Simply lovely flight, thanks Tim, Bruce, and of course Ron.

Good to see Test pilot Tim again. Apart from his innovative builds (Antenna plane), he really pushes them hard.
Whoever built the spars in that wing, made a pretty good job
Another great video Bruce...lovely job mate! 👏
Nitro trainers are starting to look very retro

Great flight. I am shaking behind my screen 😄👌👍

Fearless Full Throttle Tim throttling the sky with ninja-like scale precision. Good to see him make appearance. 🙂
Pretty fantastic flying indeed! 😃
Thanks a lot for sharing, Bruce!!!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
LOL, I kept flinching waiting on a wing fold, tough little plane!
nothing like yanking an overpowered plane around the sky! thought the wings would get ripped off mate! cheers!
Nice one Tim love the flying style your off your box.
Wow, I thought Tim was going to rip the wings right off that bugga!! Good Job Pilot Tim, brought her home safe!!
Always a great video with Ron.
great to see Tim back again.
I,m in oz and was asking my self am i safe siting here.😁
Great video and great flying by the pilot.
There we go boys even that was better than watching all that foam flapping around well done.
One of these days Tim is going to succeed in catching his own tail!
looks like the best summer weather you can have.
Can offer dark and cold nights with a few snow flakes every now and then.
Looks like his elevator is on a switch as well as the throttle
I have missed Tim. There is a man who knows what to do with a glow engine ... fly the s--t out of it! Cute little girls too
I missed this one Wow pulling serious G'S great flying Tim awesome second landing.I'd like to see a foamy do the same !!
Bruce, That looks like my old Calamoto, surprised to see it's still alive !!! Jeremy
I got a brand new Calmato a few weeks back. Put a vintage Enya 45X in there. It’s actually flys incredibly well!
They are a great flying plane. I have one too.
Those trainers must be made of some tough stuff. How the heck did he manage to keep it aeroplane shaped. I bet his Tx has cracks around the gimbals too. Particularly the throttle stick. 😂
And his wing is still in one bit, solid stuff.
Full throttle Tim (New nickname) Or just FTT🤣😍
Welcome back Tim, haven't seen you in a while.
Throttle switch. I have to remember that one. I know a couple of people who fly electric fat wing trainers WFO and say that they need to upgrade their batteries because they only last a few minutes.
Great flight and camera person.
I remember my nitro plane, it was either on or off. good times that was :D
Generally most model planes have down thrust, was surprised to see a fair amount of up thrust on Tims high wing Nitro.
Damm that plane sure must have a good spar in it .
Wow!! one of the rare flight's that Test pilot Tim never had to use the injection seat🤔😜
Now that's how to "Send it"
Tell Tim I love his pants /capris.😄
I still am stunned that 1st. the wing didn't "FOLD" & 2nd... that it didn't "Abandon" the fuselage.

Nice flight!
She’s a ripper nice flight tim
How in the world did he not fold the Wings? Built like a tank!
very impressive!
Gs that thing pulls some Gs!
Dam Go go great landing Tim well Done loved it keep flying novice old guy bama U. S.
Oh how I miss flying Nitro RC. Must dust mine off.
Need to free the carb up now. It’s a bit stiff after not being used for 10 odd years
Looked like Tim was trying to break that poor thing 😬
Now that's one strong trainer plane 😂😂😂
Reminds me of every rc heli guy to get his hands on an airplane 🤣
Tim 's rippin'.
Darn, went out this morning and the cupboard was bare! Not a sole in sight...lol, got home and my foamier fuse had warped again with the hot days we have had!...I need to get the Bixler 3 going....Laurie (Sunday).
Yeah... we got all flown-out over the past few days I'm afraid. Just email/txt me if you're unsure what's happening.
Yeah! Tim is back. More stress performance testing! Even the camera man gets stressed!
It's very entertaining watching full throttle Tim beat the sh!t out of a plane
Yay test pilot Timmy is back tryin to tear shit up again way to go Tim. LOL
That takes one back to the days when men were men, the output of model engines weren’t yet measured in terms of mousepower, and the fuel had nothing whatever to do with particle physics.
That poor engine🤣 got a right kicking there..😂
It's Chinese asp 52 as well.
@@Testpilottim Fairplay🤣 does she still run or did it melt into a pool of liquid metal🤣🤣🏴
Runs well that's not max revs
its like flying in the rc phoenix simulator where U can do anything U like on the radio tx hahah !
I would hate to be a pilot in that plane doing those fast up turns. I would be flatten into my seat. Ouch. 😨
That guy can fly!
Tim is back!!!!!
does he have the throttle on a switch or a stick?? its either WFO or idle...
It is so nice to hear a Nitro Engine and i think the smell of it in a hot summer is better than sex, just waiting for the winter here in Norway to disappear. See nothing from the Ringebu gang, they used to fly in the winter...

PS Won't someone answer that bl**dy phone!
Haha fly it like you stole it. 🤣👍🏻
Does Tim use the sticks to fly, or is everything controlled by four switches on his TX?
Nitro Tim on the sticks does not fail the watchers. The spar must be made of very very strong stuff. Put a g meter in the plane, iam guessing that the meter will not go high enough to record the number. 🙃🙂🤭🥴😵😵💫

Go nitro
Bruce don't you hold the spar with your fingers for the cg.
If a plane survives this "test" it's sure to be a nice one. 200 years from now, they will dig this plane up and wonder how it survived the ages.
Epic what a ripper
A hard day as a camera man, Tim goes wild, pulling many g's.
Bruce's neck sore next day.
YAY FINALLY NITRO!!!
Can we have a camera on Tim’s plane so we can see what stress is put on the wings.
Good times!
Haha, this guy is great!
Every club has at least one of these guys…….
All I can say is.... Tim the Cowboy.
You have a Ron at your airfield too? How many Dave's do you have there?
That plane does not like gravity !
Question what reciver are yous using with the tx16 flying nitro yous find reliable? Also missed his scareabatics haha
Hi
The calmato in the video is running a frsky v8fr-2 receiver
@Test Pilot Tim thanks mate would love to come over n fly with yous one day
WOW ........
Tim does ascending spins. Lol!!! Anyway, where do you guys buy your nitromethane? I require 4 to 10 litres and my last supplier has retired from the business.

what type of flying style is tht for a h-wing trainer plane.. safety rules always apply for rc flying rules..
And yet nobody died, nobody was even hurt and no property was damaged. Sounds safe to me!
Why does he stay full throttle the whole flight?
Because he can 🙂
Tim nitro
