I love The Big Push so much!! Their absolute best harmonies are in Swan Song, but they really have no bad songs. Their busking cover of Wade In The Water/Nina Simone/Troubles is INCREDIBLE.
Big Push songs to check out : Praise You, It's Alright, Precious, Bongo Bong, Swan Song. Then they also have some great rock songs/busking : I Shot The Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop, Paint It Black, War Pigs, What Kind of Woman is This etc
Just like Ren, The Big Push are a musical Swiss Army knife. Reggae and hip hop? Try “ I Shot The Sheriff / Road To Zion / Hip Hop” live (red suspenders version!); Rolling Stones vibe? Try “Heart Attack”; pure fun? “Bongo Bong” and medieval boy band (yes really!) “Swan Song”. So much to enjoy.
Yay!!! The Big Push attention! Can't wait for you to discover all their covers and original work! You mention you don't want anything to ruin Ren for you. The Big Push will in NO WAY ruin your experience with Ren. It will only enhance Ren for you.
Anything that Ren touches is gold!! You can't go wrong, From his Trick The Fox days time present. Just press play and let the magic begin. The Big Push originals Swan Song, Watch Out, Pretty Little Lady, Why My Woman, and Oh My Woman. Covers Paint It Black, I Shot The Sheriff, War Pigs, and Praise You. for starters.
The Big Push are next level, so many great bangers to really show Ren's versatility. And yes their harmonies are always this good and often better check out Bongo Bong it's fire.
It's wild you've covered so much Ren but no Big Push. You NEED to check out "I Shot The Sheriff/Road To Zion" mashup, and then "Bongo Bong". They are awesome!
Praise me, Bongo Bong, Wade in the water - all brilliant covers. They have some great originals - Dignity (amazing song and video), Watch out (busking video), Xbox Marijuana (music video), What kind of woman is this. But, yeah, much like Ren, anything you pick from them is awesome. Romain and Gorran are also amazing musicians and people and worth following on their own.
you'll find that both Romain (on Guitar) and Gorran (on Bass) are also great vocalists, guitarists, composers and songwriters and have great songs in their catalogue. So there the well alongside Ren's Rabbit Hole won't dry out soon. Gorran is currently (still) touring all over Europe busking so we still have to wait for a reunion of TBP.
This one was a GREAT one to start with. They do covers, originals, busking and music videos. People will suggest the busking videos and they ARE amazing. But, a different side is Icarus. There is a music video, that has a rock type vibe. There is also a live acoustic version played on a roof top. With Ren, I haven't been disappointed yet. Even his earliest work with Trick The Fox. This was wonderful and I am enjoying EVERY step of YOUR journey. Thank you so much and have an AMAZING day. ❤🤗❤
The Big Push is amazing! One of my favorites is “Praise You” talk about harmonies! Also I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/hip hop…the one with REN in the red suspenders, that’s important. Welcome to the Big Push rabbit hole!
The Big Push is not going to ruin Ren for you. They are all fantastic musicians, and their ensemble work is almost supernaturally tight. If you like this intimate style where they are playing just for themselves and the camera, try Bongo Bong. If you want some of their busking videos try, I shot the sherrif/Road to Zion/Hip Hop (the one with Ren in the red braces) or War Pigs. Those are good ways in.
Great reaction uncle Scott - the big push ( I shoot the sheriff - road to Zion - hip hop) when they are busking awesome love and respect from the UK 👍👍🌟😀😀 amazing channel 👍
Every artist that Ren works with is a phenomenal artist. Period. As another person commented, these artists don’t ruin the Ren experience, they elevate it, and he elevates them.
You're going to love The Big Push - they have original work as well as covers. They're all excellent musicians individually. Try Wade in the water/Nina Simon etc next. Great reaction as always ❤
The "paint it black" from the red suspenders set is such a chaotic, great version of it. Otherwise if you want something similar the fatboy slim cover of "praise you" is not only awesome but fatboy slim approved.
Don't worry about Ren disappointing you. There may be certain things that you like more than others, but he was clearly destined to be a sensation from an early age. Keep in mind that Ren had a record deal when he was 20 (2010-ish). He was on his way to shine back then but was unable to continue due to his health. He's only gotten better and honed his skills since then. Also, he surrounds himself with amazing talent, so his collaborations are all wonderful. As an example, there is a song called "Fire" on his Freckled Angels album. This track sounds like something that should be on the radio. He sounds young, the song is more commercial, and he has less grit to his voice, but it still sounds awesome. Loved your reaction❤ -- An Italian Gal from NY
Same with Trick the Fox "Lost Boy!" Unreal how much talent Ren has had at his fingertips for 14 years abd counting (and even farther back... I've seen the crappy videos of him bringing down the house as early as 17yrs old, unreal... admittedly, "the house" is a summer camp for musical kids, but nonetheless...)
They do everything, like Ren. Ren put an ad for a roommate in a local musician messageboard and met Romain who introduced him to Gorran. They were all musicians who busked individually and decided to go out together. Everyone wanted to follow them as a band so they made it official. They also got a drummer later, but I don't know his name yet... I'm very new to all this also 😅
You need to chase The Big Push and another Ren band from his teens called Trick The Fox all quality music. One to look out for is a collaboration he did with a girl called Liv Sangster. They do a jam session in a recording studio laying down 12 tracks. The diamond in the session is "I'm In Love", two wonderfully talented people feeding off each other and having a great time producing another top draw song for us all!
The Big Push could have been the next Beatles .and they never do bad stuff and i still hope / dream they come back even if its highly improbable as Gorran and Romain as also start their own solo career.
The Big Push are phenomenal. It's not Ren's band, though, as all are independent musicians, and Romain, Gorran, and Ren all take turns with lead vocals. From their busking sessions, check out I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop (the version with Ren wearing red braces). Then other favourites are These Boots Are Made For Walking/Satisfaction/Everybody mashup (in laundromat), Sweet Little Lady, Praise You and definitely Swan Song. There's A LOT to checkout.
Bit slow getting to The Big Push... boss lol. It is a great side burrow in the Ren Rabbit warren. Next one to showcase The Big Push busking prowess is "I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop" but make sure you chose the video with Ren wearing a singlet & red suspenders (best version everyone watches) then maybe "Bongo Bong (Manu Chao cover)" and "Wade in the water / Nina simone / Trouble so hard," (all covers) but they also have some great originals like "Swan Song." You will be blown away at the tightness of this group. So sad they had to go separate ways when Ren went into treatment in Canada. Kia kaha from NZ
The Big Push is really the three lads and they get a drummer to try and stick around. Ren and Romain were roommates and Gorran was the buddy that came to the next day at your place after partying all night. They started busking just before the lock down and were big in Brighton and have some original music as well. Had to break up because Ren had to go to Canada for a while for treatment which wound up taking a year and a half. In fact the guitarist in money game was Romain. You should check there youtube page for there videos, there are quite a few, enjoy.
Love your reaction. Please put this one in front of Tym. Yes, they do covers and their own music. Gorran, Romain and Ren sing. Glenn, the drummer, wasn't in this one. They are an amazing group that I hope will get together again. Gorran is travelling around Europe busking and Glenn is working in tech, somewhere (Australia maybe). Ren and Romain get together every so often. One of their songs is Swan Song written by Gorran.
You wouldn't believe how many times I've watched this video and never noticed the captain's steering wheel. Another chill song is Bongo Bong. For busking, I Shot the Sherrif/Road to Zion/Hip Hop. The one with the red suspenders.
I shot the sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop is a must! Do the video with Ren in the red suspenders! And for the record, nothing can ruin Ren! Everything he does and everyone he collabs with, are amazing!!!
Yes, their harmonies are always perfect. You need to react to Bongo Bong! They do everything: busking, videos, live shows during COVID; so much good stuff.
The big push will lift ren to another level for you I shot the sheriff/road to zion/hip hop the video with the red braces or if you like rock War pigs black sabath remake harmony swan song or bongo bong 😊
Oh, here's something fun you might want to do. There is a song called "It's Alright" by Ren and a song called "It's Alright" by The Big Push. You can react to both songs at the same time. Same title, different vibes...
You had me at "I'm not complicated" and then you pulled out the hat 😂This was great, just what I needed after a day in the office, thank you! ❤ edited to say: The Big Push "It's Alright" is a beautiful one, always makes me feel good (I too live in dread of the other shoe :)
As others have said, The Big Push are another genre bending phenomenon. Both Romain (on guitar here) and Gorran (bass) are super talented signer songwriters in their own right. You'll see the three of them switch roles often with one doing lead vocals, another on bass and the last on lead guitar (Ren on bass is something to behold). The 4th member is Glenn on drums. I feel this is where we see Ren at his most comfortable and happiest imo. The pure joy and fun they all have radiates out in every performance - they love music and it shows. Please put Tym in front of Swan Song by the Big Push - both of your reactions will be epic I'm sure.
Oh boy, you're in for a journey with the big push they are all talented as solo artists, and as a group, listen to the Red serspenders video of I shot the sheriff/road to zion/hip hop Another is bongo bong Paint it black Original ones of theirs Watch out, icurus, oh my woman so many The big push is a busking band they have originals and covers You will love them trust me
These guys could be the new Beatles, honestly. They have a magic together that only happens once or twice in a lifetime. Each member is an insane talent on their own. Together, they’re so powerful it hurts my soul!
A Frenchman. a Cornishman and a Welshman (their drummer is Northern Irish) singing "An Englishman in New York" is amusing. It was written as a tribute to the wonderful, courageous and inspirational Quentin Crisp. You do have an accent, by the way, just not a Scottish one! You're going to have great fun with the Big Push. There's a series of Behind The Push videos as well, e.g their BTS to the Icarus song, which is hilarious.
I was like that, after I'd discovered Ren. I became increasingly reluctant to listen to new material, as I didn't want to be disappointed. The bar had just been set so high. Each time I'd give in and be blown away again. Eventually I reached the point where it stopped being a concern. I now knew that whatever it was, it was going to be good, at the very least, usually great and frequently a masterpiece! :) Ren recognises talent and usually takes charge of any recording, audio and production. So whether solo, in collaboration, or in a group, I know Ren's going to be great! No worries! I'd be genuinely shocked if Ren released something that was bad, because I don't think Ren knows how to do 'bad'! :) Believe me, you have nothing to worry about with the Big Push. They're an incredible band, all incredibly talented and, like Ren, don't disappoint. Ren's charisma and talent still shine through as well, even in a group setting! I'm telling you, you're going to LOVE the Big Push! :)
The Big Push isn't really the 'origins of Ren'. He was in another band in his late teens until he was 20 and he's been writing, performing and producing solo work since he was about 12. He was still doing solo stuff while in the Big Push, including 'Hi Ren'. :) The Big Push is an incredible band! The 3 frontmen, Ren, Romain and Gorran are all talented multi-instrumentalists and singers and during performances will just switch instruments between themselves! Look forward to some incredible bass playing from Ren! :) Lead vocals are split fairly evenly between Ren and Gorran, with Romain usually focusing on lead guitar. Though Romain sometimes sings lead too and their harmonies are always first-class. If you liked their harmonies here, I recommend checking out 'Swan Song'. Gorran's on lead vocals but it's all about the harmonies! Ren does all the audio engineering, including live and also does all their production. They mostly played live, especially busking and would draw really big crowds. They also, like Ren, did live videos too, as well as a handful of more traditional videos, with 'studio' sound. They do a mix of cover versions, mashups and original material, with all 3 main members sharing songwriting duties. I say 'main members' because after briefly being a duo, (flatmates Ren and Romain) they were almost immediately joined by Gorran. At first, Ren would drum, whenever they needed drums but eventually they recruited a full-time drummer in Glenn. Like Ren, they do most genres and do so brilliantly. :) They went on hiatus, when Ren had to go to Canada for treatment. Initially for 3 months but, as you know, that stretched out to 18 months. I think Glenn's living in Australia now, following marriage, so they'd need a new drummer but everyone else has expressed a desire to get back together at some point. Though what form that would take is unclear. It's also difficult as Romain's and Gorran's solo careers have since taken off and Ren's career has skyrocketed, as you know! :) Nationality wise, Romain is French, Ren, Gorran and Glenn are all British, or from the UK, though all from different parts of the UK. Ren is, of course, from Wales. Gorran is English and Glenn's from Northern Ireland. :)
Funny thing happened when these guys got together . . . 🌋 Sting wrote this song about Quentin Crisp, a true Gentle Man, and always himself. (The official video shows both Sting and Crisp) Ship's wheel and "Get Naked" sign just incidental decor, along with the dog. Like the hat! 😉
The Big Push are stunning ❤ Listen to Bongo Bong, Praise You and their live busking sessions in Brighton. Guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Such a vibe ❤❤
You ask a lot of questions, sir... so Yes. Check them out, you are just going to be blown away by not just Ren, but all of them. All talented, all goofy, all amazing
A Original Big Push song that i absolutely love (so beautiful) that not a whole lot of people react to is called Swan Song. Acoustic, singing, and a nice surprise by Ren in the song. Also, wonderful three part harmonies.
The Big Push has an amazing chemistry. The have some originals, some covers and a lot of live performances. They are a band that really became known after they had stopped performing together. They have a cover of Bongo Bong that is them just hanging out and a cover of War Pigs (busking) that is just a joy to watch.
They do covers and original material check out behind the push Icarus then watch Icarus a must is swan song and i shot the sheriff road to Zion hip-hop the version where he has on the red suspenders lol you will love it awesome reaction as always 👍👍✌️ps smoth hat change 😊 even his fist band Trick the fox is awesome 😎
My favorite Big Push is them busking. They do I shot the sheriff/ road to zion/ Hip Hop. So freaking good. Pick the one with Ren wearing a wife beater and suspenders.
The Big Push is an amazing band because all of the members could go solo. When each member is so talented, the combination of them all is magical ❣️ you won't regret alllllll of t the e big push ..live busking or the videos. Alllllll of it bangs
If you want a great original 2fer, check out Icarus...then back to back do the "Behind the Push" video for the same song. Then, bring Tim back and throw that on the list.
Baby Ren in his Trick the Fox uni days is brilliant. Runaway or Lost Boy will both show you where he started but still blow you away. It's interesting to see the kind of artist he might have been if he hadn't then endured so much and taken a different path.
They are so good together. One of my favourite Romain (Axisa) covers is the classic Georgia on my mind. His own song Time after Time is beautiful too 💜
The Big Push is just 🔥 They do everything, "covers", originals, busking, gigs and they are awsome !!!!! Fantastic energy !!!! Check out : I shot the Sherrif/road to Zion/hip hop mash-up, (Ren with the red suspenders). You will love it ❤❤❤❤, I promise !!!

I will vote for all the above. Please.
They never miss. Greatest band to never make it huge, but we can all hope for the future.
For harmonies, you should check out Swan Song by the Big Push. 😊
Everything about The Big Push is awesome !
Their musicianship is really really tight. In every song.
The Big Push ♥♥♥ There's nothing for you to fear
The Big Push are next level, so many great bangers to really show Ren's versatility. And yes their harmonies are always this good and often better check out Bongo Bong it's fire.
The Big Push are fantastic!!!!

The answer to your questions is yes. They are fabulous!
Praise me, Bongo Bong, Wade in the water - all brilliant covers.
❤🤗❤
Wait till you hear their harmonies in 'Praise You' !
Yes !!
Great reaction uncle Scott - the big push ( I shoot the sheriff - road to Zion - hip hop) when they are busking awesome love and respect from the UK 👍👍🌟😀😀 amazing channel 👍
The one with red suspenders❤❤❤❤
Every artist that Ren works with is a phenomenal artist. Period. As another person commented, these artists don’t ruin the Ren experience, they elevate it, and he elevates them.
if ren is going to bother to give anyone ‘the musical time of day’ you know they’re going to be a pretty fine musician in their own right.
"Bongo Bong", all day long, ha!
He's going to absolutely love Bongo Bong.
You can't go wrong with the Big Push! Everything they do is amazing
The answers to your big push questions is yes all of the above
I came here to say exactly this but figured someone had probably said it already. 😂❤
Seen this video 40 times never noticed the wheel 🛞
Haha same here 😂
Or the get naked sign.!!!😂😂😂
Or the get naked sign.!!!! Lol😂😂😂
Or the get naked sign.!!! 😂😂😂 Lol
If you want early Ren have a look at Trick the Fox - 'Fire' is a good one.
The Big push doesn't ruin Ren, it elevates him, he always plays with talent.
They are awesome, try Wade in the Water or Bongo Bong, one of my favourites of their original songs is Dignity, cant wait for more ❤
Yesss Wade in the Water is one of my faves.
Great reaction! Love the song & would l.o.v.e. to hear your reaction to ‘Bongo Bong’ & ‘Praise You’ a Fat Boy Slim cover.
You're going to love The Big Push - they have original work as well as covers. They're all excellent musicians individually. Try Wade in the water/Nina Simon etc next. Great reaction as always ❤
Yeah Uncle Scott, you gotta hear the vocals on that Wade in the Water/Nina Simone/Trouble so Hard busking video...
Some of my favourite Ren vocals ever - insane !!!!
The "paint it black" from the red suspenders set is such a chaotic, great version of it. Otherwise if you want something similar the fatboy slim cover of "praise you" is not only awesome but fatboy slim approved.

You would love the big push swansong. The big push are just another incredible string to rens bow
The barometer isn't pointing toward a reunion for The Big Push but if it happens I want to be in the audience.
100000% manifesting 🙏🙏🥰
And so starts yet another another rabbit hole.!!!
Lol enjoy the new ride.!!😂😂😂😂

I must have watched this at least 50 times and never once noticed the steering wheel!! Your more observant than me thats for sure.
All 3 are great artist. Sweet Little Lady please. ❤
The big push will lift ren to another level for you I shot the sheriff/road to zion/hip hop the video with the red braces or if you like rock War pigs black sabath remake harmony swan song or bongo bong 😊
Icarus and Behind the Push Icarus as a 2-in-1. It’s brilliant and hilarious 😊
I could watch those 2 videos over and over lol
TBP are everything great.
Covers, originals, mashups, busking, rooftop.
Glenn is the drummer (not in all of them)
You just opened a whole new world of Ren. ❤❤
Oh, here's something fun you might want to do. There is a song called "It's Alright" by Ren and a song called "It's Alright" by The Big Push. You can react to both songs at the same time. Same title, different vibes...
I've always thought someone should do a double header of those 2! 😂
The Big Push are fantastic! So glad you're getting into them.
Ren is a talent curator - everyone in his orbit is phenomenal
"Talent curator" is such an excellent description.

Oh boy, you're in for a journey with the big push they are all talented as solo artists, and as a group, listen to the Red serspenders video of I shot the sheriff/road to zion/hip hop
Another is bongo bong
Paint it black
Original ones of theirs
Watch out, icurus, oh my woman so many
The big push is a busking band they have originals and covers
You will love them trust me

The Big Push isn't really the 'origins of Ren'. He was in another band in his late teens until he was 20 and he's been writing, performing and producing solo work since he was about 12. He was still doing solo stuff while in the Big Push, including 'Hi Ren'. :)
The Big Push is an incredible band!
They went on hiatus, when Ren had to go to Canada for treatment. :)
Nationality wise, Romain is French, Ren, Gorran and Glenn are all British, or from the UK, though all from different parts of the UK.
Not necessarily for reaction vids but there are 4 Lockdown LiveNation videos. Great mix of originals and covers. They’re just playing and having fun.
Plus Radio, which is NOWHERE ELSE and is such a beautiful, quirky little tune!
@@rebeccaburnell9319 oh, I LOVE Radio! It’s such a beautiful song. I really wish they had put it out.
The Big Push are stunning ❤ Listen to Bongo Bong, Praise You and their live busking sessions in Brighton. Guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Such a vibe ❤❤
7:49 yes.
You ask a lot of questions, sir... so
Yes.
Check them out, you are just going to be blown away by not just Ren, but all of them. All talented, all goofy, all amazing
All of the above 😂😍
A Original Big Push song that i absolutely love (so beautiful) that not a whole lot of people react to is called Swan Song. Acoustic, singing, and a nice surprise by Ren in the song. Also, wonderful three part harmonies.
We are all hoping for a Big Push reunion. Ren has said he is up for it but the ball is in the other member’s court. Maybe if we all wish really hard…
I can't believe you haven't went down the TBP hole. They're amazing too!
Swan Song is one of my favorites along with their busking.
Yea Finally checking The Big Push you are in for a treat 💞💞 I called them the young Beatles they are so in harmony 🎶
🔥🔥🔥💜💜💜
Love this one!! ❣️🦇❣️🦇❣️
Try Swan Song that one will surprise you or try What kind of woman is this (live) to see each band member display their skills.
Quick answer YES they do it ALL ❤❤
The Big Push……. So phenomenal ❤
There's a Big Push mash up you might enjoy. Take a look at These boots are made for walkin' / Satisfaction / Everybody.
All live, some recorded on location live and some recorded while Busking. You will not be disappointed. REN only lifts his fellow artists!
IMO the best live band of the last 10 years ❤TBP❤
The Big Push is amazing! All of them are sooo talented
So glad you got to The Big Push! These guys were roommates which I think helped with musicality.
All of what you said and more Another rabbit hole.
The originals are crazy
Check Trip the fox His first band
Trick the fox. Stupid autocorrect
Yeah, he totally sounds like Sting... With dreads, ha!
They are so good together. One of my favourite Romain (Axisa) covers is the classic Georgia on my mind. His own song Time after Time is beautiful too 💜
Just answer YES to every one of your questions. You will find all artists that play alongside Ren are all so good.
❤❤❤❤❤
They're wonderful. There isn't a bad Big Push song or busking performance.
Love the reaction. Would love to see what kind of woman is this next. Imo their best song
