There have been hundreds of performers of this song since 1976, but not one has any vocal data to perform it like Dimash did!
Maestro Michel Berger, for sure, would have been happy if it was such a performer who would have come to him for an audition - all the notes were effortlessly taken, and how much strength and tenderness in this performance, what actor’s presentation of each line exactly according to the content of the song.
"S.O.S." Dimasha, like a scarf with a magical aroma, flying over the square in the "Perfumer" - one wave and everyone is fascinated! The tone is incredible, penetrating the very heart!

Great reaction. I have been following Dimash for awhile now and I have never seen him "struggle" with his performance. When he sings in any of the 10 non-native languages, he does get the pronunciation wrong sometimes. But the notes are always pitch perfect. As you saw from your last video of him, his breath control is amazing. I heard that he practices his breath control everyday by swimming underwater. What ever he does, he is doing it right. He can sing anything. And every performance is rock solid and breathtaking. Thank you for you time and effort with these reactions. You are a joy to watch.

Is a part of an french Rock-Pop opera released in 1979: Starmania. I heard it as a boy and I loved that song. I was looking for it when I heard about Dimash the very first time.
This song was recorded by Daniel Balavoine in 1979 or so and Grégory Lemarchal won of the French reality singing competition Star Academy 2014 with "S.O.S."

To combine 2, 3, 4, or more styles into a single performance is nothing new for Dimash. There have been several covers to SOS, and the latest is by your fellow Aussie, Caleb Coles.
