I discovered Dimash in a similar way! I had only ever watched reaction videos to Pentatonix (and Superfruit), and one day I noticed that one of my favourite reactors had posted a bunch of reactions to Dimash. I was bored, so I listened, and was totally blown away. I will always love Pentatonix, but Dimash has sort of taken over my world these last few months (both he and PTX saved me from total boredom during the pandemic). And there is still so much amazing-ness to discover:)

Congratulations on your reaction, Dimash is a very humble and simple boy, for what i have read and seen he highly appreciates his roots and exposes them when he can in his presentations. He is very respectful of everyone and kind. He was competing in The World´s Bets in 2019 but he retired because he had not been notified that he was going to compete with children, this caused annoyance in Rupaul but Dimash was more concerned with leaving the little ones frustrated and seeing the level and quality that he has, very likely would have won.

Correction. Dimash was not the only foreign singer there. He was the only non Chinese singer in Singer 2017. There's Chinese singers from Malaysia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, etc on that show...all of them Chinese but not all from China.

One more A Capella group is Home Free who are friends with Pentatonix and were on the same show the following year that Pentatonix was on it. Both groups won their respective years and both have been fairly successful. Home Free is more of a country oriented A Capella group. but can do it all. @@SchnellJordan Rightly so ! The vast majority of talented singers have also big egos; apparently it comes with the territory. To me how they behave outside of the stage is as important. Dimash was well raised by his parents, who taught him the old school values: "if you work hard, some day people will notice". In his case, hard work complemented a lot of talent and a good heart. He is a rare species and I do hope that he will be a role model for many young artists, stars-to-be, who have very little mentoring alternatives nowadays, unfortunately.

I discovered Dimash in a similar way! I had only ever watched reaction videos to Pentatonix (and Superfruit), and one day I noticed that one of my favourite reactors had posted a bunch of reactions to Dimash. I was bored, so I listened, and was totally blown away. I will always love Pentatonix, but Dimash has sort of taken over my world these last few months (both he and PTX saved me from total boredom during the pandemic). And there is still so much amazing-ness to discover:)

He was competing in The World´s Bets in 2019 but he retired because he had not been notified that he was going to compete with children, this caused annoyance in Rupaul but Dimash was more concerned with leaving the little ones frustrated and seeing the level and quality that he has, very likely would have won.

I was hoping you would find Dimash! Also, Love what you've done with your hair! This is a good version, but my favorite version was his first time live with it. The original has the ability to add english subtitles. It was for a talent show in China. Check it out! It won't spoil any reactions to his other songs. Dimash [Dee-mahsh] Kudaibergen [Koo-die-bear-GHIN] is a classically trained (operatic) singer from Aktobe, Kazakhstan. His big break came when he competed on the Chinese reality show, “I am a Singer” in 2017. He was the only foreign singer on the show and placed second (primarily due to political considerations in which no Chinese singer should lose on a state-run Broadcast show). One more A Capella group is Home Free who are friends with Pentatonix and were on the same show the following year that Pentatonix was on it. Both groups won their respective years and both have been fairly successful. Home Free is more of a country oriented A Capella group. but can do it all. @@SchnellJordan Rightly so ! The vast majority of talented singers have also big egos; apparently it comes with the territory. To me how they behave outside of the stage is as important. Dimash was well raised by his parents, who taught him the old school values: "if you work hard, some day people will notice". In his case, hard work complemented a lot of talent and a good heart. He is a rare species and I do hope that he will be a role model for many young artists, stars-to-be, who have very little mentoring alternatives nowadays, unfortunately.

Dimash was the youngest participant of all time (22 years) in the "I am a singer" of this competition in China. Around 1 billion people see this program in China. Only professional, award-winning singers take part. Nobody knew Dimash and he had to compete at first. He was the first foreigner to take part in this competition in China. The competition consisted of 14 rounds and lasted almost 4 months. The jury consists of 500 spectators. Something completely different has to be presented in each round.

Can Dimash sing without voice acrobatics? He can and how. He is so versatile - Oper, Rock, Pop, Rap, Jazz, R&B, Folk...what ever you want. Embark on the journey. He will surprise you every time and knock you off your chair. Get to know Dimash, his singing, his diversity, his development, his human size, his modesty, his love for his Dears (that’s any millions women and men all ages all over this world).
Dimash speaks Kazakh (mother tongue) and Russian (without accent), speaks better and better English and tries Mandarin. He also sings until now in 12 languages. Not to forget, Dimash current vocal range is 7 octaves and one semi tone (C#1 - D8). At least, this is what Dimash shows to us. In the reality, probably much wider. He has an absolute ear and plays at least 7 instruments… and he looks good, that's how designers fight for him. He's a sought-after model.
Few weeks ago, Dimash graduated as master in composition and the topic for his doctorate was accepted. Soon we have to call him Dr. Dimash Kudaibergen. 😊

That is the beauty of music life...the ones ignored and not so important can be sometimes unexpectedly the real big thing.
DIMASH is an Artist in his homeland Kazakhstan, but being a not so known place, nobody from outside would have access to his phenomenal singing talent.Being heard in a Grand Prix singing competition taking first place in Belarus... and having all the qualifications as a singer...he’d been invited to compete in a prestigious professionals singing competition in China called “I Am Singer 2017”.That was the song he sang on the first episode...which changed the history of music overnight.He catapulted into global stardom because his ability...techniques...are way beyond any music textbook.We, his DEARS (fans) been with him since and from all over the World.Watching him live in his London concert in 2018 sealed my inquisitive mind that he is indeed a real singing phenomenon.Apart from that...he has the most humble...caring...respectful...intelligent and loving persona.Handsome and tall not to forget.Even his family...they have the best attitude to everyone even now that he is respected globally.
